I don’t think any coach can handle Peters. As Nick Jacobs pointed out this morning, I think he ends up having a T.O. like career. Brief stints in various places. Flashes the HOF talent, but issues everywhere.

Why is that the bubbling point? Nothing happened before that? If this is a two month issue and not a two year issue it makes me fall back even more to Bad Guys logic.

Nothing that egregious, it appears.

Refusing to tackle, punting balls into stands, being a general asshole - all things they apparently were willing to deal with.

Getting into physical altercations with staff, his own mother, barking at fans, asking to be traded - apparently not so much.

And those are just the things we know about. Who the hell knows what else was going on behind the scenes. He obviously crossed a line that the organization wasn't willing to forgive.

Doomy says they almost cut him during the season last year. Gotta try and let that sink in.

And he posted that when it happened

He's not just saying it right now

Best case scenario is this somehow leads to fat Andy and Sutton being gone next year. **** those two.

My frustration wouldn't be that Andy couldn't. It would be that they misjudged it this bad. If Peters is as bad as it seems this isn't coming from just week 13 and beyond.

That’s a player’s league. Totally different deal. I could coach the Warriors to a title these days.

Point is managing people is a big part of the job description.

Reid's aura is about gizmo plays and player respect.

His signatures here have been gizmo plays that don't work when they need to, multiple collapses that turned huge leads into narrow losses, most glaringly in the biggest games, . . . and now the failure to handle the volatility of one of the most talented and valuable players we've had.

And we're hinging all remaining optimism on a rookie QB, whose primary job will apparently be to tell the HC to STFD&STFU while he runs everything on the fly on the field.

At the very least I want Sutton run the **** out. I can't rationalize the fact that he's still a member of our staff anymore. Hes ****ing blown it in too many high profile games.

I’m not sure why they thought they could fix him. Maybe they looked at their roster in 2015 and thought that they were a CB away, and he was a top 5 talent in that draft class. It seems like the personnel department loved his ability and they probably assumed that their environment could handle him fine.

The reality is, no environment will be able to change Peters. He is who he is, and the Chiefs has seen enough.

Alright boys I'm off to a devils retirement night. Thanks for the therapeutic discussion. I expect we won't know even when I check back in what we are getting.

We should also accept the fact that our environment might not be the same next year. Alex Smith was a leader. DJ was a leader. I think Tamba is a leader in many ways.

Maybe Reid thought with those guys in the locker room, they could handle MP. But without them, they don’t want to risk it.

The Rams have taken the high road through all of this. It's KC that has been leaking everything.

You’re so obnoxiously negative that you always have the most ridiculously bad takes.

Apparently you didn’t see the Rams leaking it themselves on Twitter you ****ing moron.
