It's another reference to good/evil, much like the Backgammon game explanation. Will the cave clan and beach clan become a good vs. evil deal? It doesn't seem so, as the "good" and "bad" people seem somewhat evenly split.

True, but i also have a theory that just because the camp is split doesn't mean that they will necessarily have to stay in that camp. For example the guy with the guitar (who seems like he might be bad) could tell them to f**k off and go to the beach. And same with certain people at the beach could pack and go to the other camp.
