This wasn't Bills best showing today. The substitution patterns left something to be desired, coupled with the fact that Sherron was off, and Cole didn't get nearly enough touches. That said, I predicted long ago that if Morningstar and Reed played significant minutes, this team wasn't going far. I really hate being this right about that.
At the end of the day, (lol) this team is still young and dumb, and has achieved at a level that was unexpected this year. From here on out, it's all on the backs of Collins and Aldrich. We sink or swim according to their play. |
One of the local A-B reps called Bob Dole Monday and invited Bob Dole to happy hour with him and the regional Monster rep. Bob Dole showed up in a Mizzou shirt only to find that the Monster rep was a big Jayhawk fan who proceeded to flip Bob Dole merciless shit all evening.
Someone is getting a phone call in a couple of hours. |
Young and dumb, it is what it is. We have played crappy the last 3 weeks, it's wake up time !

Wow.
TTech last night, GTech beat Clemson today (but, Clemson is the King of Collapse), and this turd. I didn't see it, but the back-to-back losses bugs me a little... had they not lost to Tech, I would have been over this game as fast as I was over the Tech game last week.... guess you just expect a team to rebound. Oh well, plenty of rest before next week, huh? |
I would have low expectations for the tournament if I were a KU fan. They're a young team and it's been a long season.

When Collins and Aldrich are playing well, the Jayhawks can beat anyone in the country. When they're not playing well, it only takes team with one hot shooter to take them down. Pretty much the way its been all season. They really have only gotten their asses handed to them twice. UA and MSU. I am not counting the debauchery at TTU because that was just a ****ing fluke from hell and never should have happened. For what ever reason the Jayhawks SUCK in Lubbock. |

I think they're tired after a long season. That doesn't apply to Collins and Aldrich, but that team has a lot of newcomers. The loses to Texas Tech and Baylor make no sense.
Posnanski wrote about it being a reality check. If it is, than that's pretty bad for the players to think they can walk in and roll somebody. Especially after the Tech game. |
So what do you guys think...a #3 seed?
|
|
I think a #3 seed is probably right, maybe still #2. This might actually be a good thing for KU. They'll go into the NCAA with a chip on their shoulder, get a couple days extra rest. Oklahoma will probably win the tourney in OKC anyway.
Just hope KU doesn't draw any teams with "B" in the title once the tourney begins. Bradley, Bucknell, Baylor, etc... |
