It's ridiculous that we spent months ripping each other, and then none of us correctly predicted any of the Chiefs' selections. That's why nobody should claim to know more about the draft than other posters. Tons of things happened that nobody predicted.

I'm still waiting for Hootie or anyone else on his side of the argument to show me one post where I've called someone stupid or an idiot for their opinion on Tyson Jackson, or any other draft pick.

Ironically enough, Hootie managed to call me stupid twice and an idiot twice during my whopping 22 posts in the draft thread yesterday...

Mecca cares about the Chiefs. It took me a long ****ing time to learn that. Because he's so damned ass backwards about it. I get the impression that the guy is genuinely pained by the ineptitude of this team and it's front office over the last 20 years.

In all fairness, we're fans of a team that has gone 15-33 over the past 3 seasons. Not exactly much to be positive about.

I'd much rather hear someone's honest opinion over someone who's only argument is to invoke the name of Scott Pioli.

I noticed that too. He actually said positive things about the Jackson pick and a few others and there were others he didn't like so much. I think he was being fair. Then the douchebags come around and ruin the whole draft thread but turning it into a bash fest.

I will say this, if I came here everyday and got called every name in the book I probably wouldn't enjoy this place either and consider not being here. It gets tiring wading through all the name calling posts.

I guess Sam should be calling for the heads Kiper, Mayock and the rest of the experts who projected guys like Dannell Ellerbe to be 3rd round picks, and they went undrafted.

Because if you can't accurately predict what's going to happen, there's no reason to talk about it...

he might rub some the wrong way but he's a good chap. Whether it's him or someone else......... i could be reading a thread i might take part in and notice someone in their that it might turn into an argument i no we wouldn't agree on.........I just skip over and read it because i would rather do that than get into a pissing match if i know we wouldn't agree. Because like him, i am sometimes stubborn to my opinions. Unlike him i would rather not argue to the degree that he has to. That's really all it is. Different personalities. No big deal at all IMO.

I agree except I do get tired of posters calling people true fans which IMVHO is what started all of this.
