Matt Cassel will be just fine. All he has to do is kick Todd Haley's ass at the first practice and show him who's boss. Worked just fine for Kurt Warner and the Cardinals.

For about the next 10 to 15 years. It's gonna' be a loooong stretch of misery for Donks in the AFC West. And playing the Chiefs? Fahgedda' about it. Our only competition in this division for the next 3 to 4 years is Sandy Bunghole. And that too will pass. |
As I read through this thread, as I understand it, some people seem to think that those of us in the Sanchez camp were responsible ofr all the aggressive posts and name calling over the last three or four months.
But the fact is, the name calling started with people attacking mecca, who has taken a lot of abuse over the years, and attacking those of us that agreed with defended mecca's position. |

ADDENDUM:
Some people just can't WAIT to get their "Follow The Herd" on. |
I like the revisionist history going on in this thread how Mecca, Hamas, OTWP and others are all the victims. That's a complete crock of shit.
For over a month the draft forum became a place where a group of 6 or 7 jumped all over anyone who didn't agree with their take on Sanchez. People were ridden out of the forum if they even wanted to discuss another possible prospect- you're an idiot, true fan syndrome, Chief fans are so browbeaten by Carl they are afraid to take a QB, if you don't want Sanchez you are a fan of 8-8 syndrome, we don't need a LB, we don't need an offensive lineman, you don't understand draft value, etc., etc., etc. |

The name-calling came from both sides. The "he started it" stuff is so elementary school. Mecca's dished out just as much, if not more, abuse over the years as he's taken. He's not a victim. Some of us here have taken INFINITELY more abuse from the "haters" over the years than Mecca will ever have to endure, so this whole episode is becoming downright comical. |

The difference in value between the #34 and #3 pick is almost an entire draft worth of picks. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being against trading the #3 pick but not being against the trading the #34 pick. |
