Who did Miami cut? Gibril Wilson?

There's one.

Oh boy another Mike Brown with a higher cost

KCrockaholic 03-05-2010 11:56 PM

I'd rather not see Wilson with us.

BossChief 03-06-2010 12:22 AM

I just realized something. Mike Brown is gone, right?

That is cause for celebration right there.

scho63 03-06-2010 06:10 AM

No big names in KC so far

Peppers GONE, Boldin GONE, Dansby GONE, Rolle GONE, Burleson GONE, etc etc etc. I see we are going to be real "active" again in 2010 signing more bums who should be flipping burgers. :banghead:

There was some talk about Joey Porter here. He is officially a FA, but I'm sure Parcells has already told his son no.

Randy Thomas anyone? bit of a stop gap being 33 but he used to be one of the better guards in the league... How was he last year?

I don't want to sound like a true fan but paying a decent safety and a good linebacker contracts worth 80 million just doesn't sound like a good idea for a team that's rebuilding.

i basically said this same thing in another thread last night. thanks. someone gets it

boogblaster 03-06-2010 10:26 AM

FA to this club is someone they can pick up for free ....

Mr. Flopnuts 03-06-2010 10:42 AM

The Colts signed Alleman according to my NFL Sprint app. Ryan Lilja part II?

-King- 03-06-2010 10:44 AM

Holy shit. Dunta robinsons contract was 6 year 57 mil with 25 guaranteed. Holy shit. I understand that we needed to overpay for some of these free agents, but what can we do when they're being overpaid by the good teams?

Seriously. I heard this morning that Peppers' deal was actually 92 million vs. the 75 that was reported yesterday. 42 million guaranteed in the first 3 years.

That's why I can't understand why people are mad about us not being "active" this year. What the hell did they expect us to do? I understand that people are mad about last offseason and rightfully so, but pioli can't be blamed for this one(so far)

I haven't been upset to this point. I'm frustrated as a mother****er but regardless of how far we're below the cap I don't want to see this team throw money away. Keep it for when it counts.

At the same point, there are some guys they should be working deals with already. Otogwe is at the top of that list. That deal should've already been done.

I don't think anyone is upset they didn't pursue the elite tier guys, but it's frustrating to know that the Rams are BEGGING someone to steal Otogwe, and he's visiting Seattle. Not us.

Kevin Walter?

Nope.

Ryan Clark?

Nope.

Chester Pitts?

Nope.

We're too busy re-signing our own scrubs.
