LOL Allen Bailey made 10 tackles and 1 sack last year.

Really that's the standard of a good pick?

That's OK. #3 pick should be a lot better, and not be a goddamn 5tec. Maybe if he was the 11th best at a different position.

I think he will be better this year, but agree about the 5 tech part.

I think we have some guys who can be difference makers or atleast have the skill to become that.

Guys like a Baldwin or Houston.

Some guys, like Belcher or Lewis, or Arenas aren't going to be difference makers. But that's ok.

That's why I told Aturnis, I'd give Poe (who hasn't played a down yet), Baldwin, Bailey, Hudson, and next years first for Cam Newton.

A second round defensive lineman, it's ok.

BossChief 07-17-2012 07:37 PM

Yeah, you're right.

Houston looks like he isnt "on pace to be a difference maker"

Neither does Hudson.

Or Bailey.

Try to keep in mind the lockout when trying to figure out what "on pace to be a difference maker" means for a rookie.

Hurt Cam alot.

It's kind of a bullshit term since they could all bust at this point.

Here's what on pace to be a difference maker looks like, and **** the lockout:

To date, Pioli has drafted no one with that impact. He badly needs a home run like that.

O.city 07-17-2012 07:40 PM

They could all bust and some likely will. Thats life in the NFL.

It's made alot easier when you have a franchise qb in place. Spinning the wheels til then. I will say, Pioli has brought the roster along from where it was in say 08. But, where the hell else was there to go?

It's why, IMO, he went the wrong way with the qb. If you are gonna try and build a roster then put the qb in, you are behind.

In hindsight yes, but without knowing?

I wouldn't give Bowe anything in the neighborhood those deals.

It would be stupid.

He deserves 80 percent of Fitz's deal.
