I've never before seen fans of a 2-14 team talking about how its super bowl over the next couple years or bust. You don't just draft a guy with your top pick and that automatically makes him a franchise qb who's going to put you in contention for a championship every year, that's not how football works just ask the browns. The most you can hope for is to always take steps to get better, being a champion doesn't happen overnight.

When Alex came out of Utah, spread QBs were nit nearly as commin. Nolan at that time was completely I'll equipped to develop Smith and threw him in way before he was ready. As for Singeltary? He is flat out reeruned.
