Absolutely....and a good point.

It would be interesting to see if any of the people who still are anti-Smith were begging for just a QB who wouldn't lose us the game like Cassel.

Yep...that one was a little high, but not uncatchable.

The pass he made on the wheel route was perfect.

Face it...if he wasn't on the last 4 games we all would be sweating out the next 2 games, or saying "well damn, the season started out great, but look what happened to us".

Honestly your anger would be better angled toward a defense that couldn't stop the Raiders and made several other half-ass QB's look like HOF's.

I'm not an Alex Smith homer or basher.

He's not elite but he's done a pretty good job for us this year. I don't think our offensive talent around him is all that great.

Jamaal Charles is great, the rest is pretty average.


Alex Smith is just trying to win, whatever it takes. Even if it takes not throwing the ball much.

It means that it is a TD that reflects the ability of the runningback and the blocking downfield more than it does the ability of the QB.
