Not as impressive. I want nothing to do with Aaron Murray.

Stick with the first one. Cooks is the only guy that I'd feel like will be worth drafting at the spot you did.

This is my "take everything available that's projected above the drafting spot barring duplicate positions" draft:
23 TE ERIC EBRON UNC 87 RB CARLOS HYDE OHIO STATE 124 WR ROBERT HERRON WYOMING 163 DT KELCY QUARLES SOUTH CAROLINA 193 DE JOSH MAURO STANFORD 200 ILB KHAIRI FORTT CALIFORNIA |
Here is mine. I would be pretty happy if this is how our draft turned out.
23 CB JUSTIN GILBERT OKLAHOMA STATE 87 DE DEMARCUS LAWRENCE BOISE STATE 124 WR PAUL RICHARDSON COLORADO 163 S BROCK VEREEN MINNESOTA 193 ILB KHAIRI FORTT CALIFORNIA 200 OT CHARLES LENO BOISE STATE Future #1 corner with speed and size to run deep with anyone. Future pass rusher to pair with Houston. Future Split-end in Paul Richardson. Solid safety prospect with good NFL bloodlines in Brock Vereen. Good and athletic ILB prospect in Khairi Fortt. Potential future starter at Guard in Charles Leno. |

23. Kansas City Chiefs: OG- Xavier Su'a-Filo, UCLA I know many Chiefs fans don't like this pick. It was my original pick and I'm going back to it. I think the Chiefs will be looking to trade down unless someone falls on draft night but Su'a-Filo makes an immediate impact. The Chiefs need a mauler at guard and Su'a-Filo provides that. Donald Stephenson and Su'a-Filo would be a wicked combo block tandem on the right side of the line. If Bridgewater does not drop to 23, I would go Su'a-Filo. I believe one of Andy Reid's goals was to rebuild the offensive line. This provides another piece of that puzzle and alters the mentality. The Chiefs need to find some second and third picks in a bad way. |
