I'm watching the Texans vs Falcons right now: The Texan's DL is going to be a nightmare for however long Clowney and Watt are playing together. Clowney just absolutely demolished the RB and then beat Baker pretty badly for a quick sack on the play right after.

Watching it to. He is a monster and was the right pick for them. The Falcons defense sucks ass. They will be lucky to win 8 games.

V2.0 - ***Official 2014 Training Camp/Preseason Mega-thread***

Andrew Luck

Eric Fisher

Jadeveon Clowney

...

One of these is not like the other...

Mav 08-16-2014 07:08 PM

I was on the Tyler Bray before he signed with the Chiefs last year.

So, with that shot of luck, if you want to watch another qb who i think has a great future.

Check out Arizona Cardinals qb Logan Thomas.

Guy is a coaches wet dream.

Measurables out of this world.

They don't pan out much. Hardly ever actually. Those big armed prototypical size guys who go at the end of the draft or after do so for a reason. There is literally a Logan Thomas in almost every single class .

Mav 08-16-2014 07:21 PM

an nfl qb tonight.

6/8 100 yards, td, no int's 156 qb rating.

FRANCHISE QB.

These are matt cassels numbers tonight.

Preseason............It MEANS EVERYTHING.

No, there aren't.

But, lets just leave that as your opinion, and ill keep mine.

Logan Thomas literally got next to nothing as far as coaching at VT.

he is now with Bruce Arians, do you want to debate his credentials as a qb guru with me?

That is a huge reason that i have faith in Logan, why i had huge optimism for Bray.

Lets just let it play out shall we?

Arians is great with good quarterbacks. How has he done with big armed prototypical late round or free agent rookies? Who has he molded into something special? I don't think anyone can say he's made chicken salad out of chicken shit. You are getting your hopes up for nothing imo but I will let it play out. I hate to watch people invest in false hope.

I am not invested at all.

i liked Logan Thomas in college. Im not a cards fan, so it means nothing to me.

Arians made tommy Maddox relevant. Think about that.

there are guys you can set your clock to as far as how they develop qbs in my opinion.

Ken Whizenhunt with Zack Mettenberger is one im watching, Norv turner with Teddy bridgewater, and Logan Thomas with Arians.

should be interesting.

Tommy Maddox was a first round quarterback. First round quarterbacks get extra chances. He did help Maddox out later in his career but he wasn't some late round big armed prototypical size guy who was a longshot. You need to research Maddox more. He's not helping your cause.

Bray and Thomas are not the same as Bridgewater and Mettenberger. They are late round or undrafted player who crapped their pants in big games and made some terrible decisions with game on the line multiple times. There are reasons why they went late or undrafted. There is a reason they are longshots.

Mettenberger was a late round pick. was he NOT drafted after Logan Thomas?

I know exactly who Tommy Maddox was. he was severely overdrafted. he wallowed in Denver, went to the XFL, and then was a reclamation project in Pittsburgh.

Again, lets let it go, you questioned my thought process on Bruce Arians as a qb guru. you say he develops good qbs, and I think that he helps good qbs develop.

you know, like peyton Manning, Ben, Andrew, he helped resurrect Carson Palmer.

lets just let it play out, or you can continue to try to talk down to me, and to own me.

Good luck with that.

Logan Thomas, 4th round qb.

Zack mettenberger, 6th. Im just saying.......

I gave credit there but he wasn't the same as the guys in our argument and there is a reason he got another chance. There was also a reason he went in the first round and it's because the tools were there physically and mentally.

Yeah, those guys were all pretty ****ing good before he got them. That's my point. He has never done crap with a guy like Logan Thomas and has seen a ton of them come and go. He really does **** with project players very much.

I forgot Mettenberger dropped that far but he dropped because of off the field stuff. Not because he was a bed crapper in big games. I'll eat a little crow there but not much. It's not the same as Bray or Thomas.
