Is there a standard for voting for all stars? Back when I was a kid and actually voted I voted for the guys I wanted to see play. Didnt really give a shit what type of season they were having.

That's what I've been trying to tell him. The only stats listed on the ballot are AB, AVG, HR, RBI, and SB. Do you honestly think every fan in the country is looking up fWAR, wRC, and wOBA to ensure they are properly picking each position?

Donaldson was a monster tonight. Just a force at the plate even when he makes an out. Had a great bare-hand and turned two very nice and important double-plays. He also has the intensity that you love from your star players. Just a tough guy to play against.
