By the way, "informed" is subjective. In its history the Bible has been edited multiple times, translated many times, and interpreted a thousand ways by a thousand different denominations. You have learned what your particular denomination teaches you, but that is really just one of many interpretations of what the Bible means.

The original Hebrew Matthew, 19 copies of it, have been located and restored, and are being or have been made available.

The Torah, the Prophets, and the Chronicles of the Kings are as rock solid today as they were they day they were documented.

That is an ongoing effort between myself and the Most High. Also, this is a snarky football message board steeped in gotcha', which has a tendency to bring out my most awesome character attributes!

When Jesus speaks of salvation and the "preaching of the gospel" that leads to salvation, it is my obligation to do so, and yours as well.

Now, that's all well and good, but it might be a great idea to actually know what we're talking about, yes?

What were you taught is "The Good News"?

I'll wait.

Take your own advice.

It's funny watching you pimp Jesus to validate people who want to be the opposite sex, then turn around and proclaim that His truth is subjective.

You'll answer to God for both.

My mother taught Sunday school for 50 years. My father was a deacon. So I have had a lot of study in my life. What I learned is not important as I'm not on here telling people that I know it all and everyone else falls short.

I have come to believe in my life that it is and should be all about you and your God on a personal level. Organized religion gets in the way with dogma based on social and political agendas. Organized religion is man based IMO, not God based. I would never tell you not to follow your path to God, however, the only important thing is that you have one. I will not imply that you will burn in hell as you did to someone earlier.

You don't get to decide that.

Well, when you're ready, we can continue.

Have a blessed day.

God says you(and everyone else)will, has nothing to do with me.

Your argument holds no value.

Truth is, if Bruce came to Christ, he'd would be in reconstructive surgery within a day.

No one has shown me, despite me asking repeatedly, where either Jesus or God said that being transgendered is wrong. YOU are deciding it is wrong, based on YOUR views.

Once again, not a defense..why don't you point to where He proclaims it to be ok?

In Bruce's case, the effeminate will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

As I pointed out to you already, the fact that Jesus never mentioned it neither confirms it is bad nor confirms it is ok. So proclaiming that it is bad is YOUR view, not his, since we don't know his.

This is what I mean by interpretation. You are interpreting that Jesus believes something that is not actually in the Bible and you have no way to know what he believes.

This thread is a great reminder of why I don't go to church.

The whole mantra, "if it's not in the bible," instead of using the rationale brain that your God gave you on an issue.

My rational brain thinks that this issue is a mental disorder of delusion. These people should not be persecuted, but they also probably shouldn't be encouraged. Where is the fine line between playing along and reality? It's real to them. Should we try to shatter that? No, but maybe there's a place we can meet in the middle. Shaming and scolding isn't the answer, but neither is encouragement and celebration.
