Tigger and Dane(unfortunately)are full reerun in the football department these days, sadly. I love Dane, but here we go:

I spot Alex Smith PRIME YEARS, the following players:

Jerry Rice
Randy Moss
Wes Welker in the slot
Marcus Allen
The entire 2003 Chiefs O-line
The entire 1997 Chiefs defense WITH Neil Smith.

The result?

Reid gonna' Reid, and Smith gonna Smith.

Absolute Ceiling:

AFCCG LOSS.

There it is. The hard, unyielding truth that you must and will accept.

Good day sirs.

Worth it, considering who I was dealing with

TigeRRUppeRRcut 11-07-2016 11:56 AM

Bowser if you're going to compare Smiths yards you have to include his rush yards too... Unless you don't want to provide the full facts

TigeRRUppeRRcut 11-07-2016 11:58 AM

I clearly stated Russell's first two seasons which includes his super bowl run but to move the goal posts Bowser lists 4 years worth.

Clearly you are desperate to prove me wrong

Facts are facts.

Has Foles lost a game as a Chiefs yet?

Literally all the man does is win!

The full facts are this - it wouldn't matter if I listed them or not, because how many signature wins did his rushing bring either us or the Niners as compared to what Brady or Wilson have done? I'll help you out - it helped the Niners beat the Saints in the NFC divisional round, that's it.

You're the one pulling a groin muscle here (not to mention making yourself look like an idiot) by trying to compare Alex to either Brady or Wilson. Alex is a good quarterback whose strength is not turning over the ball. Alex is not an elite game changing QB as Brady and Wilson are. That explains why Alex only has 4 wins against teams where his defense gives up 24 or more points. He's not a QB that can win you games coming from behind late. But you know all of this.

Oh, you're doing the heavy lifting yourself but don't even realize it. Maybe you do, I don't know.

On the opposite side though, he is top 3 in protecting a lead and making sure the team comes out with a W

Bowser 11-07-2016 12:18 PM

Just because I'm bored -

Alex career rushing - 440 att, 1,975 yds, 9 TD's

Wilson career rushing - 436 att, 2,474 yds 12 TD's

And Wilson has done that in 4+ years compared to Alex's 11+

Good call bringing up the rushing stats! LMAO

Also known as being a top flight game manager. No shame in it when his teams win, but again, he's just not a guy that is going to rally a team down 10+ in the 4th quarter.

We've had way, way worse QB's here in KC than Alex, but let's not start pretending that he is one of the very best in the league. He is an above average guy as a quarterback. Coming from a guy that had to sit through the Brodie Croyle and Tyler Thigpen years, I'll take it.

But we have to keep the TigerUpperBob's in place when they start getting out of control with this stuff.

Jesus Christ bowser can you even stay on topic. You are as bad as clay moving those goal posts.

It's already been established here, far worse quarterbacks than Smith have won the title. Team effort. But primarily, defense wins rings. Just ask Peyton, Brady, Rodgers, Roeth, Flacco, Eli... None of those guys have won it carrying their whole team. The closest to doing that was brees and that only happens once in a blue moon

It's already been explained to you that Tom Brady was top 10 in yards and TDs his 2nd, 3rd and 4th years in the league.

Rodgers was 5th and 4th the year of his SB.

Flacco was 14th and 17th

Eli was 12th and 9th.

The WORST of that group was Roethlisberger as a rookie, and even his 21st YPG was > than Alex has ever been, and he would have been top 10 in TDs had he started all 16 games.

Please just stop this madness. Alex Smith is currently 26th in YPG and has fewer TDs than Case Keenum. This team is going to need an absolute miraculous defensive revival with Houston returning to 100% to get close to a SB while Smith is here.
