Watson is definitely going to be traded.

Sounds like this issue isn’t repairable.

AndChiefs 01-10-2021 11:01 AM

Houston would trade for the bum Tua. At best, he’ll develop into Alex Smith and probably not even that.

Additional compensation from Miami to Houston. Any chance it would be that #3 overall draft pick that the Texans gave to Miami in the Tunsil trade? LMAO

smithandrew051 01-10-2021 11:21 AM

They absolutely need a divorce. They aren’t winning shit together. That franchise is in a terrible place. High paid QB with garbage around him, cap issues, and no picks.

Lol no.

He has no leverage.

What do you mean? They have no draft picks and Watson is the best QB they’ve ever had.

He can retire and break away from them. They don’t have any leverage here.

Surely Belichick would not go to that depleted team

High cap hits could be leverage. His 2021 cap hit is only $16M, but 2022 jumps to $40M.

Sassy Squatch 01-10-2021 11:33 AM

I sense a phantom back injury in his future.

GloucesterChief 01-10-2021 11:42 AM

It is too bad they can close the roof on NRG so the Texans fans can't fly banners.

RunKC 01-10-2021 11:43 AM

Also if Watson isn’t traded to the NFC, Miami is a great place. Having the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the AFC in the same division is great for us. 1 of them won’t have HFA.

But yeah if Watson goes to Miami I’d consider them the 2nd best team in the AFC.

If I'm Watson I steer the **** away from these bellichick regimes. There's only so many times you can get burned by these stubborn assholes. Miami seems a little less patriot way stubborn but they are from the same damn tree that produced Watsons shitshows with Obrien and Caserio.
