Padres are toast. Down to the Cardinals and Reds. Unfortunately the Reds play the Pirates like 10 more times this year, so the Cardinals are going to have to keep winning.

They definitely will earn it with so many games against that Brewers staff. I just have to not watch, every time they pull me back in and they go on a little run, I watch and they blow a multi run 9th inning lead. :)

Only saving grace is the Brewers have essentially clinched the division at this point. Maybe they lose focus to some extent?

Maybe, but as division rivals that is probably less likely. I'm sure they would like nothing better than to bury us.

The Reds definitely have the easiest remaining schedule with 7 against the Pirates and 4 against the Nationals.

Pretty simple really. Win 15 of 20 starting with the Mets series to get in. Not sure these guys can do it, but only 13 left.

Haven’t been paying attention. Saw some headlines about blowing big leads in the bottom of the 9th. Then I see they took over the lead for the final WC spot. Now won 7/8. 1.5 game lead for the final WC spot.

Maybe Waino can give us his best performance ever. Flaherty can give us one to two innings. And a lot of luck, beat LA in a one game only scenario.
