How many top ten defenses has Spags had in his career as a DC? Two or three in his whole time? And he's actually had the WORST defense more than once aswell. The personel isn't great but Spags's position also needs to be looked at because this is bad across the board.

Things aren't gonna get any easier for this defense. They still have to play the Titans, Packers, Cowboys, Raiders twice, Chargers, and Bengals. Those are 7 games I could see our defense getting torched to hell and back. Even the 5 other games against the Football Team, Giants, Broncos twice, and Steelers aren't "gimmes". This defense and Chiefs team as a whole has their work cut out for them.

As much as I want to see Spags and the defense canned immediately, that isn't gonna happen.

Clark Hunt is like his dad, Lamar. They don't like contentiousness. As a result, Clark (and Lamar) wait until the end of the season to make changes. Always have. Probably always will.

Changes will happen, but not until after the ongoing trainwreck of a season is over.

The season is over for all practice purposes. But yes, after there are no more games is when changes will be made.

Spags isn't bad but he's not great either. Probably about average.

I don't know...If you average out the ranks, Spags defenses are usually bottom 10 defenses. Over his career he has 4 top 10 defenses in points allowed but 7 bottom 10 defenses including 4 in the bottom 3. Michael Strahan, Justin Tuck, and Osi Idontknowhowtospellhislastname made him.
