Locker room...

I cant get past Mahomes getting into it with Reid over a TO on the sideline...in the first half.

That is out of the ordinary behavior...and a red flag.

Well, it could be "staged theatrics" as you put it...or there may have been another issue where "Timeout" was being used as a code word.

Who knows? Disappearing down the rabbit hole with that one (rabbitarouser) - but I get what you're saying about the red flag - those guys are all usually so in sync and on the same page and TRUSTING each other.

The blown timeout was their first drive of the game. Cincy got the ball first, so it did seem pretty important to have 3 timeouts at the end of the 2nd quarter. Sure enough the lost timeout became a problem on the short possession to end the half.

I mean...really? Enough to start the AFCCG with a sideline confrontation? Mahomes has never done anything like this...I could see being taken out of the game in the 4th quarter or something.

But to your point...VERY interesting how this timeout came into the mix. Did Mahomes use a TO on that final drive? If so...he ABSOLUTELY knew how many were left...and to top it off...he knew because he had a situation with Reid over it in the first quarter...then he signals for one after the final play....just theater.

I've learned to start with the money...then track backwards...and keep note of things that are abnormal. This will get you closer to the truth...

All this erratic behavior is because they were being forced to do something unnatural...

I literally said today that, after all the football I've watched in my life, anytime that abnormal shit starts happening, I go on high alert. It's a sign.

The way that first half ended, I just knew...and then they came out flat in the second half...and I deflated. The PTSD of getting jobbed came flying back.

Tried to push it out of my mind - "we have Mahomes, it's different now" I tried to tell myself.

Hardman, Kelce or Pringle.

He just missed them. Period.

ROFL

Bullshit.

"Why doesn't he make that throw to the front pylon? He's made that throw many times. The tape doesn't lie - if he throws that quick out, it's a TD."

Holy shit, he was staring at a wide open Kelce on the fumble play!

Both plays at the end of regulation, Patrick had touchdowns and decided to eat the ****ing ball.

Both times.

The tape don't lie.

To be fair to Mahomes, in modern high scoring nfl makes it easier to lose big lead. Even fairly new 2 point conversion makes it easier to comeback.

Step away from the ledge.

You're right, it was obviously before halftime. That sequence at the end of the half was just bizarre.

It wasn't Mahomes fault that Reid didn't run the clock to shorten the game.

Belichick would have had McD run the ball at 5.7 yards a clip between the center and guards until the safeties cheated up to stop that shit, and by then, there would be a lot less time on the clock, amirite?

That, the end of half, the OT and the blatant no calls. But I know what my eyes saw and you know Mahomes usually fires a dart in those instances, no hesitation. I could see if he was under duress and didn't see the receivers, he looked RIGHT AT THEM.

Watching us take a dive has changed everything for me forever.

Or this?

Or even this?

Now we get him pouting on the bench by himself when the chips are down?

WTF?

Like is this all theater? That's the best explanation I can think of.

For a guy's play to drastically change is one thing. For his entire personality and demeanor to change is downright bizarre.

What the **** happened to him?

Money and Fame. David Bowie wrote a song about it. "Is it any wonder you are too cool to fool - FAME - FAME - FAME - FAME - Bully for you, Chilly for me - Got to get a rain check on pain (PAIN)"

Too many things happened in the game to chalk it up to having a bad half. We were unstoppable in the first half until the last series. We moved the ball effortlessly on the game tying drive at the end of regulation. Mahomes throws an interception to a lineman that's standing right in front of him. We run out of bounds twice when we're trying to run the clock down at the end of regulation. Championship teams don't do these things unless they have been instructed to do so. Now that the NFL is in bed with the gambling enterprises there will never be a game played in the NFL that you can confidently predict the outcome. Whenever big money is involved fair play goes out the window!

It wouldn't have been a problem if they had just kicked a FG with 3 seconds left going into halftime and a 14 point lead.

So is every single thread about the game going to be completely taken over by the crowd that thinks our $500M QB literally got a call from Guido just before halftime to throw the game? How does that work? Do the mobsters have direct access to his earpiece? Or maybe a secret phone on the sidelines? Or did he get a game script before the game? And no one's ever leaked any of this process even though it's been going on for decades. Ok, sure.

You guys need meds. All of you.

Can we maybe have one thread to discuss rational ideas w/o being bombarded with this idiocy? Have the mods just given up on containing this shit?
