Meh, maybe.

They were never obligated to put anything out immediately. Glazer legitimately is an "inside" guy in the NFL but he typically hasn't been a Chiefs mouthpiece.

It could be legitimate inside info rather than some plant the team wanted to put out there.

Discount it at 70% and that's still good news.
