Hey... KC was 1-10 on 3rd down conversions and put up 3 points on offense. Thats enough to scare the Raiders that played today....

Because they chose not to significantly upgrade the OL this off season. The OL has sucked for a few years now - to ignore it was foolish. Especially when you go out and get your franchise QB.

So Cassel got hurt on the third play of the game, after Goff whiffs on another block, and then falls on the back of Cassel's leg.

Did I see that right?

ABYSMAL Performance and you damn well know it. That O-line deserves to be skull ****ed with the branch of a piss elm tree, and I better not EVEN see Tyler ****ing Thigpen on this roster after second cuts.

He wasn't hit, only pushed, and he took a bad angle on his fall.

No, I missed it.

He didn't block anyone, then fell on the back of the defender tackling Cassel.

But Cassel's leg didn't get twisted funny, so I'd think it was just a strain.

That's right. Not enough done in the off season to fix the Offensive line, again!:banghead:

If you haven't watched yet, do yourself a favor and just fast-forward between Cassel going down, and Guitierrez coming in.

Thigpen is pure...****ing...torture.

And what makes it even worse than last year, is that the defense is giving him EVERY OPPORTUNITY to get back in the game and ****ing do something. It's been a long time since a Chiefs game really infuriated me, and this mother****er landed the job.

Eh.....it's a preseason game, with a team that I have low expectations for, with a QB playing who I expect very little out of.

I won't get irritated by any of it.

I'm this in real time right now, but it appears initially that Alleman is a definite improvement over Goff.

I plan to through through it tomorrow morning and really look at the right side with Ndukwe and Allenman.

It almost looked like a busted play. The entire OL looked lost on the play. And what is with Muir's blocking scheme? He keeps asking the ROT to help with the DT leaving piss-poor TE's to block the LDE.

BigMeatballDave 08-29-2009 10:53 PM

On a side note, The other team at the TSC lost to Seattle too...

He's old school.

Back in the day, TEs were more blockers than receivers, and he hasn't adjusted his schemes.

Pioli Zombie 08-29-2009 11:00 PM

Thank God they didn't draft Monroe. Moving Albert to RT would have cost too much money.
