What a crazy episode. Personally, I think Glen is still alive and the blood/guts we saw was Nick's.
|
I didn't buy that he was dead from the moment I saw the scene. Maybe they'll surprise, but I expect he'll be back.

Ok gang...
The title of the thread says "with comic spoilers" so don't bother hiding it. I can start a "spoiler free" thread. You all should know better and not click on the fricken thread after the episode airs. I don't have cable so I watch all my shows the day after on Hulu or Amazon. I know better than to come in here until Monday night. |

First thing I thought when I saw it was from the angle they did it that Glenn was alive and we will be seeing him show back up. Wouldn't it be some shit if they make him show back up only to kill him shortly there after.

If Glenn is still alive just think about the PTSD that guy has to have. Watching one friend get eaten alive right in front of him then just a few weeks later has one eaten alive on top of him.
Maybe the lesson here is don't be a part of Glenn's crew. |

Someone at my company brought up something that we all missed in our discussions over the past two episodes.
Where’s Judith? Carl did not check on her after the Wolves attacked and Enid was gone. And since I brought that up, why would the Wolves have a jar of baby food in their pack, the jar that Rick found? Is Enid a Wolf? Did she take Judith? |
Quote:
Is Enid a Wolf? Could be, that idea has been bounced around but I think they implied that the Wolves were there because of Aaron's pictures when Aaron found them in some of the stuff the Wolves dropped. |

Still, Enid is gone and Judith has not been shown after the attack. Once the Wolves were defeated COOOOORRRAAALLL just took the casserole out of the oven. |

One thing that did stand out however is that when Carol was cooking right before the attack they made it a point to show Judith on the baby cam on the kitchen island. Stood out because I'm not used to see electronics on TWD, Then Carl took the roast out without looking at the monitor, It's very subtitle on both scenes but it does seem deliberate. Something seems to be being foreshadowed. In case you don't follow the comics...

Yeah. I just read the baby food as it getting personal for Rick. He's telling everyone else to stick to the mission. That what they're doing, they're doing for the people back in the community. He's telling Daryl not to go back.
Then he seees baby food, and it hits him that his daughter is in peril. Now he has to decide if he's going to "stick to the mission" now that it's personal. The timer, to me, was a sort of joke and play on the random suddenness of the Wolf attack. Like, "And now we return you to the regularly scheduled domesticity that Carol is trying to fake." Also shows how quickly everything happened. They endured and repelled an attack in the time it takes brownies to bake. |

Great episode tonight. One of the better episodes I've seen in a long time.

We're like 2 years into the zombie apocalypse and mother****ers are still having mental breakdowns?

This episode was a work of art.

I'm not even looking at this thread to reply, but WhoTF watches TWD on the night of the Royals WS championship AND Denver/Green Bay?

It aired 3 times tonight... |

I'd probably be watching it now if I didn't have Good Wife and Homeland ahead of it. |

Me. I swore off the Royals (and baseball in general) in '91 when they traded Bret Saberhagen. I haven't watched a game since, and I refuse to be a bandwagon fan. And I'd rather watch 90 minutes of TWD than a non-Chiefs game. |

Yeah, I noticed when I caught the very end of the second airing. On my first half-viewing I missed the beginning and ending so I assumed it was all contemporary. |

Good episode...wonder what the next episode is about? Wasn't sure by the trailer where they are heading
The wolf guy is so crazy and he should've taken him out. |
