For a little perspective, Alex Smith made just over a million dollars for today's game.

His foot touched OB anyway, which would have helped Denver.

Crazy game.

If I were Denver, I would pressure McClown into another mistake.

Random question for those of you who were around today. (I chose to go on a hike rather than watch this abortion of a team.) Did the server hold up OK? I made a bunch of tweaks last weekend, so curious to know if it was noticeable.

The pigeons hang out in the Chiefs endzone all the time. They know they won't be disturbed.

Dropped a couple of times for me 2nd half. It was excellent for the Royals game, and that had some traffic

Dropped as in "took 10 seconds to load instead of instant" or "wouldn't work for 20 minutes straight" or something in the middle?

I think it is obvious that the Broncos are participating in satanic sacrifices. It is the only way to explain how they are undefeated.

Would still take Bridgewater over Smith 100 times out of 100 and if you wouldn't you're a goddamn moron.

Some of you people need to learn what "known quantity" means and how it applies to Alex Smith.

Discuss Thrower 10-18-2015 03:01 PM

Second year quarterback throws two picks but gets a TD and was able to make big time throws on third down to put his team in position to kick easy FGs.

Eleventh year quarterback gets one TD no picks and routinely missed throws on third downs and didn't get a score on the board until the second half.

How? Neither one of those picks were his fault... The first one was deflected... and the second one was a DB making a ridiculous play.

It's the NFL script. Chiefs and Browns lose in a humiliating fashion, and Broncos win based on the efforts of a player who logically shouldn't have signed with them, but for some reason took a cheap contract and will later be given a high-paying front office job. And the NFL thinks that no one suspects a thing.

petegz28 10-18-2015 03:11 PM

Anyone catch the post game presser? Did Andy blame himself and say he needs to put players in a better position to win?

FloridaMan88 10-18-2015 03:12 PM

Alex Smith on the Chiefs final offensive drive finishes with four straight incompletions.

2+ minutes left, a chance to drive down the field and get a game winning TD, and Alex Smith, the 11 year veteran, the $17 million/year QB can't even put forth a competitive effort.

Time for a new starting QB.

I was too busy trying figure out why all the streams on the intertubes went reeruned.

In the end, I figured it was Chiefs/Vikes and nobody gave a fuhhhh.

I watched the first quarter, said the heck with this, went and sealed / painted up the gaps and peeling paint around the back of the house before winter gets here. Came back in to watch the last 5 min of fail. I'm glad I didn't waste my time watching this team.

He actually looked very good. Made some nice tackles and they completely stuffed Peterson other than a few runs.

They were pushing on a game-winning drive when Donald Stephenson forced a Charcandrick West fumble by punching the ball out of his arms. You may not believe it's true at first, but it is.

:) Sweet. Now we just draft another ILB in round two next year to fill DJ's spot and we will have a solid front 6.5 (0.5 for Ford).

Devito got hurt today, but I'm not sure how serious.

Also, Maclin appears to have a concussion, but he's on offense so it doesn't really matter.

March looked pretty good in the the preseason, sucks he got hurt. :(

I wouldn't mind an ILB from this class though. Strongest class in a long time.

I listened to 810 on the way home from the race and it was epic.

I get the feeling that the Hunt/Dorsey/Reid nut-huggers are quickly going to find out how alone they are in the defense of anything Hunt/Dorsey/Reid.

I think the SOC Part-Duex spark has officially turned into a fire.

Meh.

The team isn't being embarrassed in games like it was in 2012.

It will take a 1-5 start next year for anything real to get started.

Losing at home to a hapless Bears team that has gone 1-11 in their last 12 outside of the Chiefs game = embarrassing. Not sure what you're watching.

Second, Fat Andy has $15M owed to him in 16 & 17. He's going nowhere unless he had a massive heart attack

This team isn't smart enough, or coherent enough, or connected enough with the fans, to know when to be embarrassed.

Simply put, they get paid the same either way, so they're happy and should be out partying any time now.

They have regressed every year under this regime when they should have been ascending. Expectations were high this season. These guys might be toast if it's a 1-2 win season

This team was losing games by 21+ points in 2012. This isn't remotely the same.

Mother****erJones 10-18-2015 05:37 PM

This team has no confidence in Alex. It's time to let him keep losing and play Murray soon. Feels like '12 but we suck because of QB. This team is gone. They've mailed it in since Denver.

Bewbies 10-18-2015 05:38 PM

I went out to lunch with my family, spent a few hours outside washing one of my cars. I had the laptop open with the game going, mostly for the audio.

This team absolutely sucks. 3 win ceiling if no big changes happen. Tops.

kccrow 10-18-2015 05:39 PM

I don't want Dorsey going anywhere just yet. Reid and this coaching staff can all hit the road along with their poster boy Alex Whiff.

Mother****erJones 10-18-2015 05:39 PM

Didn't even do that, checked twice saw 3-0 then 10-0, knew it was over and went on with my day with out a single shit given.
