Mitch is actually faster on TV than he is person. If you can see the whole court you can see how slow he is compared to everyone is. Great work ethic though.

Yeah and if they keep it up, atm goes to back a dookie, it could get very interesting really fast. ATM about to cut it to single digits. This is far from over.

Tyler Davis is such a scrub. He has the athleticism of Georges Niang, probably even slower with less hops. Only has crafty post moves, nothing else.

Well according to GBlowfish Kansas went right out of the gate with all intentions to permanently injure the kid.

So the fact he is playing in miraculous!

Yeah Big 12 definitely laid an egg. For whatever reason, for the last decade the Big 12 has destroyed in the non-con, then just fell back to earth the rest of the year and typically struggling to play to seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Yeah. That was a shitfest. I wasn't really buying into the idea that B12 was far and away the best league, but there was some serious bedshitting going on.

WVU was one of the worst ****offs I've seen since the Chiefs got finished.
Baylor didn't even get off the bus. That is truly embarrassing.
OU didn't get off the bus either. This one is fairly forgivable because everyone knows if you shut down Young it is over.
Iowa State got obliterated. Nice job ****offs.
TCU shouldn't have lost, but they aren't the same team without the albino.
Okie Light also imploded in spectacular fashion.

Well done ****tards. Well done.

i dont read too much into that, really the only bad loss for the Big 12 was Kentucky beating West Virginia

The ku loss seemed to begin an implosion for wvu

I think the league is pretty overrated

I really don't see any teams in the NCAA that are solid. Early on Duke was but they don't look good now. Michigan state has some bad losses.

I haven't watched Nova play though.

As usual, not another elite team and KU isn't even elite this year.

I think Texas Tech is the best team in the league if they have Zach Smith. WVU has disappointed me, I thought they would play better since Esa Ahmad has been back and Konate looks like a legit rim protector and NBA player. Not sure what the deal is, they've struggled keeping up their defensive hacking philosophy late into the 2nd half.

Best case scenario they get 4 teams in the Sweet 16. Two to the final four. Most likely just two Sweet 16 teams.

Bro, we've had 2 FF teams the last decade combined. Ain't getting two on one year. 2 to the S16 is possible I guess

Pablo 01-28-2018 03:32 PM

Were there any dipshit S-E-C chants to be found? I didn't watch anything aside from us and the end of WVU/UK.

I'm sure there had to be one arena full of mouthbreathers busting it out though.

Playing much better than Kansas is.

excessive 01-28-2018 04:59 PM

Whether they are winning or losing, the script is pretty much the same: this team only plays high-level basketball one half per game. Blame whatever you want: shallow bench, lack of toughness, whatever.

Soon they'll need 2 halves, a complete game of effort (tomorrow night?), and I don't know if they are capable of giving it, for whatever reason.

Hope I'm wrong.

didnt the play hard the whole game against Kentucky and TCU? That comeback on the road against WVU was a gut check that they passed.

You have to understand, March is a "crapshoot". It's odd that it never falls in the Big 12's favor. But it's a crapshoot. Arbitrary

That was an ugly game. UGA dictated the pace and play of that game for about the first 36 mins. My takeaway is that this is a game, in the past, that we would lose 90% of the time. Yet, after shooting horribly and not playing our game, we pulled it out in the last 3-4 mins. That was encouraging to me.

Tonight will be different. Both teams will want to play a more up-tempo game, ku much more than K-State. The key for K-State will be our ability to keep Dean Wade on the floor and out of foul trouble. Thus far, he's done a great job avoiding fouls. If we can get ANYTHING out of our 5's, I like our chances. But, if they disappear into nothing more than 8-10 fouls, we'll be in serious trouble. I think Barry Brown will be a much better contributor in this game than he was in Lawrence. Since that game, he's really turned it on.

Should be a fun atmosphere and game. Wish I could go, but I'm actually Coaching a YMCA game tonight, so I'll miss most of the first half..

I was really surprised Brown didn’t do much in Lawrence. He is far better than he played that night.

It will come down to whichever team gets hot from outside.

4 teams? Joe Lunardi has them getting 7 teams into the NCAA tournament. IMO, he has KU too high. I think they are a 2 seed, at best. And KSU seems low as a #10 seed.

Wasn't that the one where KSU's president released a hilariously back-handed statement talking about how their previous three court-stormings after beating KU were done without any injury?

Anywho, if you win tonight ya'll deserve the storming. I've always found our fanbases' criticisms a bit hypocritical when dump our field goal posts into Potter Lake whenever we manage to beat ITT Tech on the football field (or when the Royals win the World Series).
