@QuintonLucasKC Sorry, y’all. I hear the mayor of Cincinnati has tried to bring some smoke that’s weak as hell. Catching up now… 5:45 PM · Jan 27, 2023 ·789.1K Views https://twitter.com/QuintonLucasKC/s...srASNmA_wEWGNg |

After all this bullshit we have had to read and hear this week I really hope we win this ****ing game. LMAO

One thing Chris Simms keeps mentioning is how in the regular season game the Bengals were pushing their safeties up to flood the Kelce and Juju areas. This in turn dared Pat to go over the top. MVS ran past their defense twice for big gains and with Mecole and Toney back I wonder if they have the courage to do that again?
Another thing not being mentioned much but Dan Orlovsky has been going on about it. If we play 12 or 13 personnel for a good amount it's gonna put Cinci in a little bit of a bind where defending the run is concerned. |

For all the talk about “Joe Cool” and the Bengals offense, does anybody know that they have 0 offensive TDs in the fourth quarter in six playoff games? ZERO. They’ve averaged about two points offensively in the fourth quarter.
|
Guys!!..i just looked at the roster from regular season game against Cinci and it appears that aswell as not having Toney, Hardman, Thuney and Clyde on the offense that day, we never had Jaylen Watson, Mike Danna or Brandon Williams available on the defense either!!..so that's SEVEN players added back in that never played in a game we lost by three points on the road.
The more I look at the facts on the table the more interesting this game gets. There is no question we have an improved roster and theirs is weaker (due to them losing three linemen) since that regular season game. |

oooh I like this take from Marcus Spears on ESPN:
~"K Toney needs to have an impact game...YAC will be at a premium, you're gonna need to look for guys you can get the ball in their hands and make play, and #19 is one of he best in the business. This is a hidden element, hidden guy type of game. Who's that unknown right now that's going to step up!?....[like] T Higgens, K Toney can be that guy they went out and got him for a reason!" Agreed! Would be incredible for Toney to make a major impact in this game, perfect timing for him to show us what he can really do. |
I hope Andy opens up the full wrath of the playbook and teaches those cocky little bitches a little humility

Postseason Sack All Time Leaders:
1 Willie McGinest 16.0 1994-2008 2 Bruce Smith+ 14.5 1985-2003 3 Terrell Suggs 12.5 2003-2019 4 Frank Clark 12.0 2015-2022 Look at the timeframes too. Sounds like a great week for Clark to tie Bruce Smith for 2nd place. He pass Willie in the Super Bowl. |

Bengals coach Zac Taylor said they’ll continue to monitor RG Alex Cappa and LT Jonah Williams as they move through the week. I expect Chris Jones and company will deal with them "respectfully". |
Kelce and Clark both had the flu in the last matchup as well.

Our D Line is so much better than the Bills that it would surprise me if they don't play a huge factor in the outcome of this game.
Karlaftis–Danna–Jones–Dunlap–Clark vs mostly backups and an injured playing average center in Karras. It's ridiculously lopsided. |
What's up CP?!
Looking forward to an epic championship game tomorrow. This is the way it should be, the two best teams (and QBs) in the conference punching it out for a trip to the SB. Glad to see most of the star players are healthy and playing, that's what you want is the superstars on the field in a game like this. Reports about Mahomes' health look really good. And, even if he is slightly limited to being a pocket passer, Mahomes is extremely good from the pocket (top notch). Tall task for the Bengals to defeat the same team in back-to-back title games in their own home stadium. Can the Bengals do it? Yes, they are a very good team but it's gonna be really tough to do especially against a QB like PM. Bengals backup OL looked good against Buffalo but we'll see if that was fool's gold last week. It could be the killer blow for Cincy this week if they can't hold up. No single team has ever won back-to-back AFC championship games on the Road. Cincy is going for the history of that to be the first to do it. Extremely tough. I don't see Chiefs losing two in a row in their home stadium to the same team. You never know though. Philly lost championship games two years in a row in their home stadium with Andy Reid as their coach, so we'll see. I think the Chiefs are likely to win, although I'm obviously rooting for Cincy and you can't ever count them out. Should be a great one! |

Arrowhead is a great environment no doubt. Btw, I loved that clip a few pages back of the crowd noise and Elway complaining that he couldn't hear because of the rules back then. I certainly hope not, home stadium atmospheres in a championship game is one of the things these teams strive for. Plus, the fans experience has got to be much better in a home stadium instead of a neutral place (idk, I've never attended an NFL game in a neutral stadium). Yeah, the Bye Week is very important for a team to try and secure,, but home field advantage is just as important IMO. |

Goal line stand by SF to stop big Pete Johnson. That SB was a real lost opportunity for the Bengals. |
We’ve all mentioned how big the Von Miller loss was for the Bills.
Let’s not forget that DaQuon Jones also wasn’t playing and Jordan Phillips played with a torn rotator cuff. |
How would the Chiefs DL look without Jones and Clark while Saunders plays injured?

I've been to many cold-ass games in Cincy over the years but wasn't at that one thank goodness. Too young for that mess. Yeah, that SB was such a good chance for Cincy but Joe Montana, what u gonna do? |

1. You can’t judge Andy losing two championship games in a row as any basis for that. The fact he made two in a row with McNabb as his QB is impressive. Mahomes is light years better than Donovan. 2. Go to KC and get world class BBQ. Once you do you will understand just how disgusting Skyline Chili looks. Plus it’s so good you might change your team allegiance. |

Well, that's true. McNabb was definitely no Mahomes. mmm BBQ. You're making me hungry |
Ok I finished watching all three Bunholes games (NFLN network is spamming the shit out of them - how about some Eagles/9ers or something?).
Takeaway is that while they were painful, especially last year's AFCCG, I feel a lot better about our chances tomorrow than I did before watching them. We were in all 3 games, and our D for the most part did better than I remembered, although they do seem to get gassed at the end of the game. One thing I liked was Andy was noticeably more ballsy in this year's regular season game - going for it on 4th down when Mahomes did the Jordan dive. I kept thinking in the AFCCG - what if we just handed the damn ball off on the 1-yard line before the half? Yes it's risky, but they'd never be expecting it. Has to work 80-90% of the time. Or just do one damn QB sneak. Mahomes doesn't have to fall down, he just needs to push the ball over the line and get out of harm's way. They would NEVER expect that. And as we saw, even passing is risky. It looks to me like maybe Andy took that to heart and said **** it - we're going for it vs. these guys in the future. We need that. I'm sick of the fear of Mahomes forcing the other team to be correctly aggressive on 4th down, and us turtling up. I don't think they're going to get complacent this year if we get a lead. And the regular season game showed we can come back if we get behind. I really think there's a good chance we come out and smoke these guys. If not, they're just the better team right now. |
It's mind numbing how we lost that last game
|
Quote:
They're a better team this year than last year, and we're in a legit dogfight with them now. |
That roughing the passer penalty really pissed me off
|
Yeah and the one big turtle move Andy made this year was kicking the 55-yard FG instead of going for it. That sucked. Even if we make it I bet we lose the game. We needed a TD or at the very least a FG with much less time on the clock.

Bengals elevated a tackle. Their OL is going through it.
We better dominate up front tomorrow <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">We have elevated QB Jake Browning and OT Isaiah Prince from the practice squad to the active roster for tomorrow’s AFC Championship at Kansas City.</p>— Cincinnati Bengals (@Bengals) <a href="https://twitter.com/Bengals/status/1619397545712566272?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 28, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
Im a bit afraid Cheffers is gonna call so many holding calls against us. I think our oline is going to be so scared to let Patrick take any hits. They are gonna have to play the cleanest game of their lives.
