JFC I'm talking about that short period where Smith was very close to being a FA and SF was pursuing Manning and no one wanted Smith for a bag of chips. I wasn't doing a straight parallel when I said that. I would think you geniuses would maybe think about it for a second instead of taking things at face value. I LOVE IT when dudes like you, want to talk shit, and leave out very important parts.

One. No Free Agent qbs got any love during that offseason other than Peyton Manning. And why was that? Because the draft class was going to be the deepest in years, and anyone who needed a qb, was going to draft one.

That's why Matt Flynn, despite being rumored for Miami, because of Joe Philbin, didn't get a bite, the best he could do was a mediocre deal from Seattle. There were NOT a ton of jobs out there. The colts knew who they were taking, no need to talk to Alex Smith. No team in the top 10 of the draft who needed qbs were going to sign Alex Smith, when they could draft and groom their own. Which defeats your entire sentiment. There WAS a bidding war this offseason for his services. So, obviously he IS a wanted commodity. You are just a douche. And they call me a TROLL?

I thought so, too. Sean Smith and Flowers covered the outside and Robinson was the nickel when I was there.

I didn't see Flowers covering the slot at all...unless he was staying with a receiver presnap in man.

Yeah that's why I wanted to keep Arenas. He all but shut Welker down last time we played I believe

Teams could not contact Alex Smith or his agent in 2013 because any team would have been charged with tampering.

By trading for Smith, the Chiefs insured they'd have a legitimate starting QB in 2013 that could run their offense. Had he gone to free agency, there most certainly would have been other teams interested in his services (Raiders, Cardinals, Bucs, Bills, etc.).

He was talking about last year Dane, when Smith WAS free shan't and no one was interested

Everyone knows why Bray wasn't drafted. The question is whether or no we have the coaching staff to correct it...

It was 10-3 at half and Welker didn't register his first catch until 6 minutes left in the game. We obviously were awful but he did a hell of a job on him

and Dunta couldnt cover anyone last year on a defense that gave up more pass yards than our patchwork secondary and still made it to the NFC Championship thanks to their QB
