Weird that the Chiefs never had any apparent interest in bringing Gay back… and he seemed to know that back in the playoffs when he said the Miami game would be his final home game as a Chief.

But then he doesn’t cash in on the open market.

They've given out a lot of money today, the window is officially open and will close when they have to start paying CJ and Anderson, etc.

They don't have our front office.

Wow.

I'd have rather had Gay at that number than Tranquill at his.

Why? Tranquil is simply better than Gay, especially this last year. Tranquil is 13M guaranteed for 2 years, with an option in 2026. Gay is getting 5M this year. 6.5M per year for Tranquil and he's a superior player.

Sometimes it is easy to be enamored by a guys athletic ability rather than his play on the field.

The Dolphins are starting an elderly home huh?

Let’s see how they fare vs a first place schedule and with teams having an offseason to gameplan vs Stroud.

Agreed…they won’t be sneaking up on anyone this year either.

94 targets to get 500 yards and four touchdowns. Maybe trash is a little strong but consider me extremely unimpressed.

He's also 5'9 180 pounds and drops the ball. I dunno I hope he stays away.

I admire their moxie, Stroud put a jolt of lightning in their ass and they now want to ascend asap for a franchise thats almost always struggling... they're going to be a big headache for everyone sooner rather than later

Maybe they plan to spend big this year, then dial it back some once they've jumped up the ladder... who knows

But I do like how they've went all in, you just know Texans fans are hooo-boying! right now

Agree. Tranquil is the far superior overall player and will only cost us 3m this season, which helps nail down talent for the 3-peat too.

*checks notes*

101 targets last year.

I'm with you, don't see the fascination other than BRRRRR he fast.

Hell, is he even fast anymore?

pugsnotdrugs19 03-12-2024 05:08 PM

Drue is that much better than Willie.

His athleticism in a vaccuum is awesome, but the zone awareness has never been there enough to translate on the field like you hope.

People who want Hollywood:

How is this different than getting Donnie Avery in 2013? Why would you pay that much more for an Avery type?
