Who do we like best at center? They're all still available, and Rudy Niswanger isn't exactly entrenched.

I'd like to take Zuttah.

I'd guess it would be Pollack. I'm mildly surprised he's still on the board.

i still think there is some offensive lineman for the taking
T 7 Carl Nicks SR 6-5/335/5.30 Nebraska Salinas, CA
OT 8 Anthony Collins JR 6-6/315/5.20 Kansas Beaumont, TX
OG 3 Oniel Cousins SR 6-4/302/5.04 UTEP Fullerton, CA
C 1 Kory Lichtensteiger SR 6-2.5/305/- Bowling Green Convoy, OH
C 2 Mike Pollak SR 6-4/293/4.99 Arizona State Tempe, AZ

I like this list. I totally forgot about Collins. Nicks is an Ox who could easily play G or RT and may even have the feet for LT with more work. Cousins is nice too.

Would Nicks or Collins be around in the 3rd?

I'd agree with that, with 3 3rds he'd be an alright pick......

It's a really great "you saved us from ourselves!" feeling, isn't it?

Taking a QB now accomplishes nothing.

Croyle won't be afraid of some 3rd round pick. So was he, there's no money issue or any other motivation there.

And since the money and rounds are equal he clearly trumps the n00b on experiece. Brodie will not feel threatened if we do trade up to pick a guy.

All we'll do is spend for no reason and fail to do anything to motivate the starter...

Pollack shouldn't be taken until our last 3rd rounder, if then.
