More than that, I'd say. I suspect they may drop out entirely soon once they play a few more road games against better opponents than West Virginia and TCU. Nonetheless, any win in that environment against a decent team is a good one for KU. That's as tough a road game as they'll play all year due to the crowd.

I think if Self didn't call a timeout there, he wouldn't have even realized that he had to foul down 3. About 15 seconds ran off before that happened that KSU could have used. Not to mention running out of timeouts with four minutes left. Such terrible coaching.

KU would have won that game by 10+ if it wasn't for Kevin Young failing to cover Southwell repeatedly (the guy can't hurt you on the drive, figure it out) or making some other mistake on the offensive end. KSU would always hit a three or KU would turn it over whenever the lead was growing. But I guess Self didn't want to trust Perry down the stretch and I can't blame him considering his history.
