Geno is still a question mark...who just happened to lead his team to victory in his first start.

The only correct thing you have posted in this thread probably.

We do know what Alex Smith is, a playoff winning championship caliber QB.

He ain't changing.

Uh, did you watch the ****ing game?

Alex Smith was exactly what I thought he was.

Checkdowns all ****ing day. Shit on third down. ONE sustained drive.

I did enjoy when he went deep to McCluster for 20 yards though.

I've been trying to figure something in my head, and maybe you can help me out, yeah? When a person is insane, as you clearly are, do you know that you're insane? Maybe you're just sitting around, reading Guns and Ammo, masturbating in your own feces, do you just stop and go, "Wow! It is amazing how ****ing crazy I really am!"? Do you guys do that?

Come on man my view on Alex is not that far fetched, I know hperbole mixed with sarcasm is your specialty but that's all your post is.

You know damn well Alex Smith with some help around him can get a team to a SB.

And no it doesn't have to be ridiculous help, just good supporting cast.

He isn't Aaron Rodgers, he isn't Manning, he isn't Brees.

Neither will Geno ever be close.

The problem here in general is too many people think you have to be elite or you suck. The reality is there are only a few elite QB's and then a bunch of guys than can get it done with some help.

edit: I am confident I am one of the more sane people here. This place is rather extreme on either end.

Already proven false.

Alex is unlikely to ever be on a team that good again.

Hilarious that you prop up Alex while simultaneously saying Geno can never amount to shit.

Admit it, he already shocked you in his first start. You thought he was going to be a tornado of fail.

But, no turnovers. The game was completely out of reach. And lets not pretend that only check downs were done. The very first play of the game was a deep pass to Fasano that went off Fasanos hands.

That's the thing with Alex Smith. Because he doesn't turn the ball over, his teams aren't usually trailing enough because of the run game, special teams, and defense that he doesn't ever have to force anything.

Now, the next few games. He will have to make more plays, or the Chiefs wont win. Will be interesting.

LMAO you are so full of shit.

You know what was PROVEN false. Geno Smith is not a 1st round QB and that alone give Alex Smith a better shot of winning a SB based on your own criteria.

Suck on that asshole. LMAO

No shit there were no turnovers. Alex avoids them like the plague. The one time he tried a dangerous pass it was almost picked. I'm sure he won't be doing that anymore.

Compare the Chiefs roster right now, to the 49ers roster of 2011.

You are full of crap.

The Chiefs team right now is every bit as good as that 49ers team was.

And that 49ers team was predicted to finish last in the division.

That's what I have been trying to explain to you, and you REFUSE to even listen. You don't have to accept it, you just refuse.

Yeah. And teams that win the turnover battle, have a 70 percent better chance of winning a game.

Im not sure how anyone could look at that as a negative after watching Chiefs qbs last year turn the ball over again and again.

Absolutely not true, and this will be borne out over the course of the year.

O.city 09-11-2013 07:54 PM

@NFLosophy: On offense, Geno was shaky all the way around. He had a hard time getting through progressions, defining keys, and with ball location.
