Good job !But don't over do it. Jumping jacks ,if done properly are one of the best weight loss exercises. Try doing small sets of like 3 at a time. I can do a set of 5 and instantly lose 2-4 pounds. Make sure you clap your hands at the top or it won't work though. that's the secret.

Lost 1.5 lbs this week, down to 349 on the nose. This was a challenging week in terms of food, but I did pretty well.

I survived a graduation party where all my favorite junk foods were out in force as well as my wife's birthday, which was a food haven.

The highlight of the week exercise-wise was a 15.2 mile bike ride with an elevation gain of 1,370 feet. I made the decision this week that my next big goal is to successfully complete RAGBRAI next summer. Biking has just been a lot of fun, and growing up in Iowa it would be pretty cool to bike the whole state.

Short term, I'm pushing to get into the 330's when we head to vacation in July.

So say you guys on CP have a bad day and don't bench press 350lbs. What's your current max and goals as far as the weight room is concerned?

I lift 4 days a week, but there's no chance I'm spending time on BB.com with all those GNC douches.

current maxes and goals
bench 295 goal 375
squat 450 goal 550
dead 575 goal 675

6-1, current weight 228. trying to get under and in the 220 weight class to compete. program is beyond 5/3/1 with two bench days instead of overhead press. 4 days lifting, 3 days prowler (after legs and saturday)

I wish I could squat that much lol. I'm working on it. Sounds like you have the frame to get close to those goals though. Bench will be tough. Ask Justin Houston what he does to bench 450.

Right now probably 325ish. I was probably around 370 at my best but I weighed 240 then and was shooting for 400. I'm down to about 200 now and am more worried about cutting up. I might try for 400 again this winter with a good bulk.
