The NFL announces the AFC Championship will be played in Indianapolis regardless of who reaches the game (if it's the 1 seed vs the 7 seed it's still in Indy)

After seeing the atmosphere at the AFC Championship game was like a CFB playoff game (50/50 crowd) they decide to move all future AFC and NFC to predetermined neutral sights. They will make the point that getting both a bye and home field throughout is too much of an advantage for the #1 seed.

If this were to happen it just increases the chance that KC would have to play another away game in a win or go home like we did vs Tampa in the SB considering the sights would most likely be Miami, Indy, Vegas etc.

No. HFA is a real thing, you take it way because why?

The Number 1 seed gets HFA, it's in the rules...

That's still bad. Two of the top three teams got 85 percent of a bye week.

And we get screwed out of HFA throughout when it certainly looked like the Bengals were going to put it to the Bills.

Do you all think they would've handed that scenario to Brady and the Patriot's?
**** no!

Buffalo and Cincinnati fans begin making hotel reservations in Kansas City.

Why is anyone celebrating anything? That tweet didn't announce anything of substance and if you think it did....then tell me who Rob Maaddi is.

It's clearly the easiest, most common sense solution. But because it benefits the big bad Chiefs we can't have it.

Just pathetic.

The biggest question of all might be whether Clark Hunt & Andy Reid are standing up in a strong manner against some of this stuff. They seem to be nice enough guys that they might just roll over and go with whatever BS is thrown at them.

If you go to 8 then nobody gets a bye week.

Unless you give the 1 and 2 seeds two bye weeks, totaling 5 games total to win the Super Bowl. But two bye weeks is pretty egregious.

And also the NFL doesn't want the PR hit of appearing to "punish" Buffalo for not finishing the game Monday.

Too bad... they walked off the field.

Actions have consequences.

It’s like letting a student walk out of a final exam in an emergency situation and never making it up, and then giving the students that finished the test and F while the student that left gets an A.

Bengals/Bills got most of one already.

Again, it helps Buffalo because it saves them from falling to the three seed which they were going to with a loss to Cincy.

If anyone gets screwed in this scenario it's the Bengals.

Except for Buffalo and Cincy, who both just received a second BYE

They should only answer questions about what the NFL decides and announces... Not all the shit trying to stick to the wall...

TLO 01-05-2023 01:49 PM

How about the Buffalos get on a plane and fly to Cincinnati? We can probably have a game going by 9pm CST
