Unfortunately for the Suns, he is nowhere near that now.

Forgetting that you said this was Durant’s team and not Bookers?

Of course it matters. The Warriors need to be stopped before they can do any further damage and the LeBron has always been the best candidate to do so when KD wasn’t there to bail them out.

If the Warriors are allowed to advance to the WCF, they have every chance of exposing Jokic in the PnR actions and get back to another Finals.

Merely pointing out that Luka embarrassed Booker and your franchise in game 7 of the playoffs last year.

He's the one that gets to talk shit until the stink of that loss washes off, not Booker (especially considering the Suns had to add a top 10 player in history to beat Luka and that Booker is no longer leading that team).

Well that was certainly the hope at the time the trade was made but it’s evident now after this series that Durant is finally showing signs of decline. Too bad because instead of Luka embarrassing a Booker-led team this year, it was another flabby white guy in Jokic.

The Suns are clearly going nowhere fast. They needed Durant to be his old self and the best player on the team and he’s just not that guy any longer.

So what you’re saying is that you were talking out your ass and you were wrong. Good to know.

No, I’m saying that Kevin Durant just got old before our eyes in this series (and the playoffs are really the only place you can find that out). He was traded for to be the best player on the Suns and he just established he’s not that guy anymore.

Instead their #1 is a guy who has now gotten completely destroyed in home elimination games two years in a row. Good luck with that going forward.

Seems the Suns thought he was worth enough to trade for and they sat him on the bench so he could go fishing. He still hasn't done squat without the Dubs.

Lebron couldn't win shit with the team he was drafted by and so he had to make the 1st super team in Miami.

Seems Curry never had to leave the team that drafted him to chase a Championship.

Whatever it is always see your takes/inputs. You make this thread interesting enough. Appreciate you.

Durant is a top 10 player in history and even now despite declining is still probably a top 10 guy in the league. Yeah, I’d think that trade was worth a shot if you’re the Suns. Unfortunately, CP3 got hurt again and Durant isn’t the superstar he once was.

LeBron spent 8 years with an organization that gave him Mo Williams as his best #2 for its duration. It’s only too bad that he didn’t leave that mess sooner. Wasted some of his best years with that trash franchise.

Might have something to do with the Warriors assembling 3 other HOFers around him and another Finals MVP, no? A little different than Mo Williams.

Taking the lead from Dillon Brooks, I see. Unsurprising.

Can Curry win without Durant? Clearly.

Can Durant win without Curry? Evidently not.

Supposedly one of the main reasons why KD left GS was because he grew tired of the fan base saying this was Steph's team. But guess what they were right. GSW success was and continues to be all about the greatness of Steph.

When KD was here teams would double Steph and leave KD singled up just like the Lakers are throwing every thing at Steph this series.

KD hasn't sniffed the Finals since he left and tried to build not one but 2 super teams all the while Curry keeps winning. Even if they lose tonight they wouldn't be in this position without Curry and they still have a few years left to win another championship.

Doc Rivers is what people accused Phil Jackson of being.

Give elite players to a mediocre coach and you get Doc Rivers. Phil Jackson did a lot to make those teams into champions.

The Nuggets have to be the sentimental favorites right now.

ChiefsCountry 05-12-2023 08:30 AM

Need to see Lebron tie the fraud that is Kobe.
