If that’s all we got, that’s the best we could get. And if that’s the best we could get, that tells you all you need to know about Peters rep and how bad it got behind the scenes.

The bad move was taking a chance on this guy in the first place.

Yes. That is exactly the ****ing point. This guy had shown his true colors all throughout his college career. It was no secret who Marcus Peters, the person, was. Reid thought he could provide an environment to help him out with those issues. He was so wrong its funny. If Reid wasn't willing to deal with his character concerns if he couldn't fix them, then DONT ****ING DRAFT THE GUY!!!. Now we've arrived at the absolute worst case scenario for the Chiefs, and its ****ing gut wrenching.

No shit. And ostensibly getting another season or two of play from him.

No one is going to convince me that some dope in North Carolina got the scoop over Terez Paylor, Adam Schefter, et al.

Sometimes the national writers know things that they can't say.

I don't know a thing about the guy who posted this tweet, and I said as much when I posted the tweet. I just posted a tweet that came across my feed.

I just find it hard to believe that there are people out there telling Maas, SAUTO, etc. that we will be happy with the compensation and then it’s just a 4, 7, and conditional ‘19 3rd.

If this is even close to accurate, the Chiefs should be ****ing contracted.

There’s no way the Chiefs are investing any money with this guy. His 5th year option is $9 million and things were so bad with him here that the locker room and culture was being affected.

He didn’t want to be here and the Chiefs were sick of dealing with him.

RealSNR 02-24-2018 02:42 PM

Take all of those picks and tell the Rams to shove them up their ass. They can't be persuaded to cough up their 2018 3rd?

Jesus Christ.

We need to release a tweet from here saying "Source says #1 and #4
this year and #2 next year is price paid for Peters". Get the Rams board all up in arms!:D

Said last night that he’s been told that people will be very happy with what the Chiefs get. Said that they will release the details when they decide to, but that the compensation would please people.

Then you tell the Rams no deal and sit Peters till his rookie deal runs out or only play him in sub packages whatever.

Red Dawg 02-24-2018 02:50 PM

I have to have faith in Brett. Maas says we will be happy so I am going to beleive.
