It would pain me to see us passing on all these good safeties but I agree with Pest. I think Veach is gonna take his sledgehammer to the DL and get another one. Not sure if it’s gonna be an edge or DT but I’m very confident he’s gonna double up. And of course after that I think his objective is gonna be helping Patrick with a weapon.

Then I think he’ll use those 3rd and 4th rd picks to get depth in the secondary

Well unless something crazy happens like Dax Hill somehow falling to us.

If we didn't have Reid or Thornhill...then I would totally be down for a safety at 50.

I'm of the opinion that just like the Hill trade and not trying to out right replace him....we should be doing the same with Mathieu. Don't look for a Mathieu replacement...just grab a good third safety in the 3rd or 4th round and go from there.

I think there’s one name that will determine our outlook today: Josh Kaindoh

He was an elite athlete with potential that just never got on the field last year. Does Joe Cullen like him? Is he starter quality or just depth?

They were very high on him last year and knew he needed to be developed. If they are confident in him that could lead them to put DE a bit down the list today.

I wouldn’t be shocked if they used a 2023 pick to trade up tonight.

103 seems like the perfect spot for a trade up.

He went 31 to the Bengals.

Pitre is really the only S left that I can see them drafting in the 2nd.

DT. I think that’s a position that could definitely be taken. Especially Travis Jones or Perrion Winfrey.

They haven’t replaced Jarran Reed and Chris Jones is 28 this year with an enormous cap hit both this and next year. Plus you don’t exactly have much there at DT.

Could totally see that being the case even with Karlaftis moving inside situationally

Brisker is one that I'd like but I'm not passing up a DE, DT or even a WR for him.
