Does anyone feel like the word love is thrown around far too frequently? No offense, Buck, but I feel like you've been in love with 3 or 4 different chicks since you started this thread.

I was talking to a female friend about my current relationship that's 7 months deep at the moment. She asks if I was in love and I said "**** no". She was genuinely shocked that me and my girlfriend don't exchange "I love you"s after 7 months..

That seems too soon to me. Probably why the divorce rate is over 50%..

I say I love you shortly after the guy says it just to be nice. But then I say it to everyone else in the world too so he doesn't know how serious I am.

I'd say I've easily loved a handful of men at different points in my life. And for different reasons. Falling outrageously and vulnerably in love doesn't happen very often for me. Fell in love with my current when he fell in love with my kids.

Women are weird.

I do and I'm in the middle of a winter beard right now.

I'm sure my employer would like it better if I didn't, but I have a "when they need me they REALLY need me" job and I'm good at it so I get a lot of leeway.

Last year my winter beard earned me the nickname "homeless lumberjack." By February it's actually rather Kieselesque in both color and luxuriant fullness.
