Two miles in 20 minutes. That may not be great, but that's great for me.

6 mph. I think that's considered jogging...lol.

Hammock Parties 06-08-2014 12:36 PM

Do sprinting intervals instead. More beneficial. And less boring.

I am right. You are wrong.

You are shying away from building muscle for the stupidest ****ing reasons I've ever heard.

For the final time, you thickheaded, arrogant ass... I'm not TRYING to get "swoll" right now per se, its more about getting "fit"... as in establishing a healthy, solid base from which to do whatever, maybe try to get huge, maybe just try get just cut, something more natural for my weight who knows.

Only at this place would someone get shit for saying that intensive cardio as part of an overall health and fat burning plan is "just a stupid burn bro, I mean how dumb can some mfer be?"

I got my first weight set at age 12, less than a year later I demanded a gym membership because I'd outgrown the old set... all back when you were 2-3 years old, smearing shit on your walls.

Who said I'm giving advice? Is there something wrong with posting about my program... what I'M doing, whats working and has worked over and over for ME?

The only thing I've been corrected about in this thread, is Silock explaining the difference in female and male physiology when it comes to weights, I dunno, guess I didn't have a subscription to "female" Muscle and Fitness... who cares, I sure don't.

I'm glad Silock educated me on that.

The bottom line is that what I do works, it has over and over... carbs, cardio... all that shit, my clothes are falling off me as we speak.

So I'm not giving anyone advice and I sure as hell don't NEED anyones advice.

Silock 06-08-2014 05:40 PM

Cardio is fine. It just may not be the most efficient use of your time.

Also, just because you've been exercising for a long time doesn't mean that you're up to date on the current research and results as to what actually works best.

There are a lot of old guys that come into the gym and do the stuff they did back in the 70s and 80s in high school football, thinking that's the way to do it. But a year or two later, and they're still at the same place they were. They spend a lot of time spinning their wheels when they could be getting results.

I'm speaking specifically about this post you made.

100 percent bullshit. I'm holding you accountable for it.

Maybe not when it comes to being huge, but nothing else gives me that "extra awake, energized" feel like some hard cardio, its a definite endorphin rush... I've got time to get huge, but for right now I'm burning fat and cardio is working for that.

Silock 06-08-2014 05:50 PM

To each his own, then. The most important thing is to just continue to be active.

If that's all garbage, then why are MMA announcers always mentioning it when a fighter comes in looking too buff for his weight class?... "is his cardio program up for that much bulk you think, Joe?"

My job, is usually a very steady diet of physical work... I may not have to lift boulders every 2 minutes all day, but its constantly tough and I want the cardio as WELL as strength to keep up with it, I need weight loss right now and, again, what I'm doing is working for weight loss... even IF just a straight diet of weights and minimal cardio works faster.

Glad your program is working for all of you people, as effort and luck would have it... so is mine.

Hammock Parties 06-08-2014 05:58 PM

Just stop making bullshit statements. This isn't about anyone's "program." It's about bullshit that you posted. It's 100 percent bullshit.
