So who are you over on the WZ? I feel more and more certain you are InHarbsWeTrust now... since you constantly whine about mod-abuse on both sites and would hate Smith enough to register here with the clear butthurt evident and given to you by the "fanboys." is that you? or do you still not have the guts to say? |
It'll be interesting to see how the hoodie plays him. This will be a tough test for Geno from a scheme perspective. He'll have to move Db's with his eyes and really go through his progressions. Should be interesting to watch.

The TRUTH is you make a LOT of excuses for such a marginal player. Why? |

Excuses are a funny thing. I have seen the Geno lovers make excuses for their boy. I have seen the Kaeperscuses... I have seen the excuses for Romo, Cam Newton, damn near every QB. As I say... if you like the QB? excuses turn magically into legit reasons for struggles. If you don't like the QB? those legit reasons turn magically into excuses. That's just the way it is.. the way it has always been. Welcome to the hypocritical world of message board agendas. |

I have to admit, I cant stand this guy (I use to like him until draft day) and Im for one glad he isnt our QB. I'll also admit, that it probably clouds my view of him as far as how good he is going to be. I think hes going to fail miserably, but Like I said, it could be just be becasue I cant stand this dude. I tihnk hes a little punk. I hope he gets plowed like a prison bitch tonight. |

The Center you are a little tough on. Goodwin was signed for his experience but he is still OK physically. Just looks much worse next to Iupati. 2011 Power Rankings http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2011/week/1 26. 49ers Braylon Edwards was probably supposed to be the WR in the role Moss played. Outside guy. Crabtree's foot was a problem again and was unable to practice. Josh Morgan had shown himself at least a competent WR. Braylon got hurt in week 2. Out a month. Was in a few games after that and then was cut for performance or whatever issues with the team. Josh Morgan broke his leg in week 5. Crabtree you hoped would emerge in his 3rd year. http://www.footballdocs.com/WR_three_year_rule.html He was still up and down in 2011. Forced into the #1 WR role while he is not that prototypical guy didn't help and to be kind he comes across as not the smartest guy so probably not quick to pick up the offense. Vernon Davis quiet year is more on both him and the coaches. Vernon never developed into a natural TE but even still what he can do in the passing game wasn't implemented enough. A team with that level of question with the pass targets is gonna have issues no matter the QB. http://i.imgur.com/3OF79.png And Frank Gore is a great back but he is a grinder. He is not like Jamaal Charles or McCoy or AP who can cut the throat of a defense or flat out dominate. Look at the final power rankings in 2011. GreenBay and New Orleans were still the top 2 NFC teams. |
