I'm still in.

He looked good while he was in..if Bowe would have caught 2/3 of the balls thrown his way, Brodie has good stats.

But then this injury BS comes up. And it pisses me off. I'm still rooting for the guy, but FFS, stay in one game and show us you're moderately durable.

Exactly. Croyle looked good today. He would have looked even better if Gailey knew how to call a game.

Now alot of injuries I would be down his throat for, but a shoulder injury blows balls. I have torn my labrum in both shoulders and it was by far the worst injury I have ever had. You basically go numb down your side. And you can rehurt doing about anything. But still he had a good game up to that point. I have no clue why him and Bowe havent had the same connection that Bowe does with Huard. Thats really strange to me.

If you watched this game (and his six losses and NO WINS from last year) and didn't drink, didn't blab with your friends, didn't eat at a restaurant and you actually know about football, as in why he's not allowed to throw downfield (psst... because he telegraphs receivers and it's a pick 6 waiting to happen), and you still think croyle is the future, worth investing in or even better than Huard, your brain functions irrationally.

I see you have no experience in evaluating QBs, n00b

I think its Kevin Keitzman.

Mr. Flopnuts 09-07-2008 03:28 PM

You can add my name to the list. I'm concerned about his durability, but for now I'm still in.

I wouldn't be surprised

I don't care if you have 0 evaluating skills even a drooling reerun knows the QB has to be able to play every game.

:spock: You didnt just say that?

OMG, that was drool bucket worthy...

Odd to me that in the game thread everyone is saying Brodie was actually looking pretty good. Then, as soon as he gets slammed to the turf and has to leave, everyone is ready to chunk him out into the street.

I said I'd give Brodie time, one game isn't enough time. Especially given that people were saying last week our OL would probable let him get killed today

DaneMcCloud 09-07-2008 03:33 PM

Matt Ryan would have won this game for the Chiefs.

No doubt about it.

damaticous 09-07-2008 03:33 PM

I still like Croyle and I'm on the bandwagon, but I have to believe that College is a LOT different than Pro.

I believe this year will decide his fate. Insurance, sales, real estate, or Pro QB. To be determined.....

Sully 09-07-2008 03:39 PM

I'm amazed that people are still standing by the "Just give him a chance" routine. he's had chances. he had chances in college, and he's had chances in the pros. He's proven exactly ONE thing... he gets injured... a lot. Even as a rookie, he got injured in practice. Maybe it's not his fault. Maybe they are all legit injuries. I don't give a rip. the guy absolutely CANNOT stay ont he field, which makes him irrelevant to our future at the Q position.
