I must say, I have gained a new-found respect for you guys over the past couple of days. From the reaction I got from issuing two flags, you'd think I went to the guy's house and shot his dog. I know now why Zach and Parker got sick of being mods. There's more little girls here than at a daycare center.

More power to you guys. And I'll think twice before complaining about what you do. Although I honestly do think we'd all be much happier if you'd be just a touch more willing to drop the hammer.

When I first started this whole deal a year ago, I cared way too much. I tried to keep everybody happy and quickly found it's pretty much impossible. Over time, I just realized that you just have to do what you think is best and stop caring about the rest. Once I reached that point, it's not too bad.

Perhaps. I know this place has always been run with a pretty small crew, which helps to keep the "loosely moderated" culture going. I'd be OK with adding one or two true "mods" (everyone we have technically are admins), but I'm not sure that's my decision to make.

I think that would be the route to go as well.
