I don't see any way that KU is a 2 seed.

I think KU is 50/50 3 or 4 depending on how some other teams do around the country.

So what do you guys think...a #3 seed?

I'd say there's a pretty good chance at a 3. There's no shot at anything higher, and Clemson's loss helped Kansas' chances of not taking a serious fall (and they probably wouldn't anyway).

At this point it might be good if they to a 4.... that should get their attention. I've read a few quotes from players about "how people doubted us all season", and as far as the tournament goes, a 4 seed would put them back at where they started in November. Not that it should be considered a disappointment to the fans, but maybe they'll see it that way and kick it up a notch.

thats not updated, it still shows KU as the winner of the Big 12

I know...I was just providing a reference and showing why I think KU would drop to #3.

as a mizzou fan i'm happy to see you fall in the BXII tourney. although come time for the big dance, i'll be cheering for all big xii teams. this kansas team is going to be really good for the next few years, if this year was any indication. you all should be right back in the hunt for a national title, probably next year. i just hope MU can keep up with the jones's.

Question: Do you think Bill Self is beyond intentionally losing this game?

1. Did you notice that he never got red-face angry like he did at Tech and Missouri? He never seemed anxious.

2. Aldrich and Collins are not in the best physical shape. Both are just an ankle tweak from being done for the year.

3. Collins final attempt for the 3pt shot Seemed suspiciously (perhaps purposefully) underdone. I've never seem him seen try to make that shot with so little energy and momentum. It seemed like something was wrong even before he released the ball.

Did Bill dump this game to bide some time? just throwing that on the table

Whatever it is that's crazier than aluminum foil hats, that's this idea.

I think bill would rather go deep into the dance than deep into the conference tourney

HC_Chief 03-12-2009 06:15 PM

DAMN!

I have been on a business trip all week... flight lands, check the score, and we LOST?

Bummer :(

Oh well, RCJGKU :KU:

As for seeds, I see a 4 or maybe even a 5, I don't realistically see a 3, this coupled with the Tech loss really hurts IMO....as far as Self intentionally losing a game, ROFL ROFL, he's too much of a competitor...as far as maybe the young ones are wearing out, there may be some truth to that, and this will give them a breather...whatever, bring on the competition, I'm already impressed with their season, much higher than I expected.

Self will have them ready come next week.

Roy used to say openly that he didn't care about this tourney. He said he'd rather his players get the rest. And he didn't win it much either.

Pretty easy to say stuff like that when you lose it.

That is not happening at all, OU is a 2 now, maybe a 3. KU, my guess is a 4, IMHO, we should be.
