La Canfora: The Chiefs may be laying in the weeds
~We may spear him

O.city 03-06-2012 06:54 PM

La Canfora really said that?

Bane 03-06-2012 06:55 PM

I thought Pioli and Hunt decided not to make football decisions about business.

Doubtful. Consider the guy who posted it.

No mention of the Chiefs

Schefter may think that Chiefs coach Mike Shanahan has no interest in Manning.

BossChief 03-06-2012 06:57 PM

Lacanfora did say that, I heard it.

Not the spearing part, just the Chiefs are laying in the weeds part.

Sorry, but I'm still not convinced you're not a blueballs mult.

Better than a blueballs malt
I'll tell you that

SPATCH 03-06-2012 07:01 PM

I watched the Schefter bit on SportsCenter. He mentioned the Jags, but I'm fairly certain his final 4 was Washington, Miami, Arizona, and NYJ.

If this is true then this talk about Peyton coming to the Chiefs is pretty much a waste of time

Go to espn.com home page. The only two teams with a "high" likelihood of Manning landing with their team are Miami and KC.

This from Paul Kuharsky:

Who will those suitors be?

We’ve heard the same several teams listed: Miami, Washington, Arizona, the Jets, Kansas City. Others could surface now that Manning as a free agent will become a reality. Some will stay on the fringe, awaiting indication on his health.

Miami is a tough division. AFC West sucks ass. KC makes the most sense.:D

I agree with this 100%
