He's apparently basing it all on Cassel, fair enough i guess... but really, who cares what Hyman Roth thinks, as long as Cassel doesnt completely shit the bed KC will beat up on several teams that no one expects us to.

Theres really no reason that this team shouldnt make the playoffs this year, what Cassel does once there is another question, but theres absolutely no question that this is a playoff worthy team.

Michael Silver is a big Todd Haley fan, seems to hate Pioli with a passion, and those two things tend to bleed into everything he writes about KC.

Unfortunately, a lot of what he's written about KC over the last year has turned out to be pretty accurate. Including the last thing he wrote that outraged everybody, which was that Peyton Manning would be crazy to even consider coming here. And lo and behold, he didn't consider it.

In a way, I wish we were that bad.

Maybe then we would have a chance at a real quarterback next April and have hope to win it all in a couple years.

Reality is we have a better shot at being a playoff team next year than drafting in the top 5.

I'm just gonna try to enjoy the ride and trust that Cassel is on a short leash and that Stanzi will get a chance this year.

As some of you know I'm currently in my second year of dental school, second semester. So close to being in the clinic and seeing patients I can taste it.


Well these last two weeks I have had 16 finals. Has not been a joyous couple weeks. Only 4 left.


Anyway, after having my head in books for a while, I find my self day dreaming at times about this draft and Chiefs football. I've come away extremely optimistic. I am intrigued by what Poe can bring to the table. If he can do what the front office thinks he can do, we should field a good defense.


Still have to worry about the qb spot, but I think Stanzi will have it on lockdown soon enough.


Excited about this season and this years rookie crop. Hopefully it's a fun ride.
