That's brilliant logic.

As opposed to an aged stop-gap at a raping price and drafting a shiney new tackle at one/one? Now THATS brilliant.

Enjoy the Kool Aid! We are going to draft and develop a QB soon, promise, seriously!/clarkhunt

There will never be a more perfect scenario to draft a QB as there was this year. The prospects will always have enough warts, as in the past, to make an excuse.
Along with that, this is the only time in the 53 year history of this team where they have had the #1 pick, and you have a HC and a GM on their first draft/season without job pressure.

I fully disagree.

Sanchez was the number one high school prospect in the country. His completion percentage was 80% versus #5 Penn State in the Rose Bowl. He was coached by Pete Carroll. Had it not been for false rape allegations, the guy would have started for 2 years.

Compare that to smith, who was coached by Dana ****ing Holgerson or Barkley and his bum shoulder coached by Lane Kiffin.

No comparison.

Barkley was also the #1 HS player in America and was recruited and coached by Pete Carroll. He was also a 3 year starter and the first true freshman to ever start an opener at USC as QB.

So, that's already happened?

Huh, and here I was under the impression that the draft was nine weeks away.

And his shoulder is jacked up, which is not good for a QB that already had questionable arm strength.

He put up great numbers in Bobby Petrino's offense, which is like saying the Chiefs should have drafted Kliff Kingsbury.

So you are not a Tyler Wilson fan, ok. But see, the individual QB prospects really aren't the point here, it is much bigger than that.

Oh boy, lets draft another tackle, that is always safe! 10 and 6, get in the tournament, never know what might happen! (please address your season ticket check to 1 arrowhead drive please)

No argument there. He will have to shine at his Pro Day to erase alot of doubts

Wouldn't that have more of an upside than letting one of the top Left Tackles go, and then using the pick to draft his replacement, that is hopefully as good?

In other words, guaranteeing that you wasted the pick?
