Here is how you beat KCs defense:

Always know where Kendrick Lewis is.

He is the new Mike Brown as far as I'm concerned.

Holy shit you are a ****tard. My response was to this post

"Legit playoff team with the whopping 0 playoff wins with Manning?"

Clearly bringing up playoff wins, thus my response was well within the normal run of a conversation you idiot. I realize that the Wichita school systems are terrible, and you probably don't have past a 2nd grade education, but I would immediately order Hooked on Phonics to help you improve your reading comprehension.

I mean, those last two games ARE the Chiefs. That's what you're trying to get at, right? Otherwise why even bother bringing up those last two games and highlighting them against the absolutely ****ing stellar production they had earlier in the season against superior QBs and more explosive offenses?

I was looking back at the last month because it think that gives a good view of what they have done recently. Who were the superior QBs ands stellar offenses earlier in the season?

Romo and Vick are both QBs who often put up big numbers, and so do their offenses. Keenum has been playing very well against a lot of teams, one of those teams being the Colts, who beats the Broncos. Holding Pryor to 7 ain't bad either, not to mention also holding Eli to 7.

Sure, but Romo and the Cowboys suck on the road - it's proven, just look at the performances over the years. Vick and that offense were figured out quick, he's no longer QB. Keenun had his first start at CK. Eli... that was during their wretched stretch when they stunk.

Aside from Eli, at his best, few people put those guys in the superior category.

Okay, who have Denver kept to 17 or fewer points this year?

What's the magical # 17 all about? I get it's the max that KC has given up, but what does it mean in the grand scheme?

Denver's lowest point total allowed is 19 (and that includes an INT pick 6) so the defense gave up 12.

Again, I'm not suggesting nor have I ever suggested that KC's defense is a fluke or that Denver's is equal. Denver's offense puts up 39 points a game on average, that's where their bread is buttered. And, we'll see what wins out on Sunday - great offense or great defense.

If KC's team were transported back to the 80s, early 90s ... unstoppable. :)

TOUCHDOWN!!! KC 11-14-2013 07:18 AM

Ravens 27 @ Broncos 49
Ravens record 4-5
Ravens Defense 8th Pts/G, 16th pass.

Donks first game of the season Vs the Ravens. No one knew what
to expect from the Donks. Everyone knew the Ravens Defense wasn't
going to be anything close to the Defense they've fielded over
the past decade. Ravens D has gotten better ever week since this game.

Broncos 41 @ Giants** 23
Giants record 3-6
Giants Defense 26th Pts/G, 10th pass.

Brother Vs Brother. Giants were 0-1 at this time. This was the
game we pretty much realized that the Giants weren't the same
Defense, or offense over the last couple years.

Raiders** 21 @ Broncos 37
Raiders record 3-6
Raiders Defense 21st Pts/G, 20th pass.

Meh it's the Faiders.

Eagles** 20 @ Broncos 52
Eagles record 5-5
Eagles Defense 20th Pts/G, 31st pass.

This is about the time that everyone realized that Chip Kelly's
offense wasnt going too burn up the NFL

Broncos 51 @ Cowboys** 48
Cowboys record 5-5
Cowboys Defense 23rd Pts/G, 32nd pass.

Tony Romo played a beautiful game too throw it all away on the
last pass of the game.

Jaguars 19 Broncos 35** 19 @ Broncos 35
Jaguars record 1-8
Jaguars Defense 32nd Pts/G, 13th pass.

Jags Defense hit BrokeNeck and kept it close. This was the game
the "National Media" realized that the Donks are beatable.

Broncos 33 @ Colts 39
Colts record 6-3
Colts Defense 9th Pts/G, 17th pass.

The "Homecoming". That realization came true. Plus the "BrokeNeck
Can't Win the BIG GAME".

Redskins 21 @ Broncos 45
Redskins record 3-6
Redskins Defense 31st Pts/G, 26th pass.

What no breakdown... yeah I got nothing for you on this game, or the
Skins. Except that they are improving and when the Chiefs actually
play them they will be a much improved team. (Barring Injury of course)

Broncos 28 @ Chargers 20
Chargers record 4-5
Chargers Defense 13 Pts/G, 28th pass.

Crybaby and the Dolts almost won this if my memory is correct. Not saying
it is... but I could be right.

**Chiefs also faced these teams.

KC 28 @ JAC 2
DAL 16 @ KC 17
KC 26 @ PHI 16
NYG 7 @ KC 31
OAK 7 @ KC 24

Teams the Chiefs have faced and the Donks haven't. Adding the rush defense
as well cause the Chiefs have a running game.

KC 26 @ TEN 17
Ten record 4-5
Defense 10th Pts/G, 6th pass, rush 18th

HOU 16 @ KC 17
Hou record 2-7
Defense 28th Pts/G, 1st pass, 14th rush

CLE 17 @ KC 23
Cle record 4-5
Defense 11th Pts/G, 9th pass, 6th rush

KC 23 @ BUF 13
Buf record 3-7
Defense 24th Pts/G, 25th pass, 30th rush

There was a QB that lit you guys up for 48 points.

There was also an offense (Philly) that was unfamiliar to a lot of defensive coordinators. They were ripping through their competition until they faced KC.

Eli Manning is still a very good QB. Lack of run game and offensive line troubles notwithstanding.

And finally, Keenum. Yeah, you laugh, but I'd be willing to make a wager with you or any Donk fan that he'll rip your defense apart, certainly for more than 16 points, which came against a defense trying to keep it laid back and simple unless forced to dial up hot pressure blitzes.

That same defense I can guarantee you will not be as forgiving and cautious when Denver matches up with them this Sunday.

I love how the theme is that the Jags "kept it close". The pick 6 (which was a great leaping catch by the LB) brought them to within 2. The Broncos' defense held their offense to 12 points... and they won by 16. But, whatever. It doesn't work when I say that the Browns and Bills "kept it close" against KC, but it works here? Sure...

Yep - Romo had a lot of fun in his house...

Philly game - it was a 7 point game late into the 4th and then Succop hit a FG to make it a 10 point game. PHI still nearly had 500 yards of offense with nearly 300 rushing yards. So, they were really ripping through the competition (weeks 1 and 2) before KC man handled them, you're right. (Denver was beating PHI late in the 4th 52-13 when Foles through a TD late in garbage time)

Denver beat Eli's team and Vick's team and they'll play Houston down the road. I'm glad you've legitimized Keenum though, that's helpful.

So the broncos gave up 6 times the points the Chiefs gave up to the Jaguars? Good D man.

MahiMike 11-14-2013 02:04 PM

Broncos 34-23 sounds about right.

Yeah, but if you'll recall... Gabbert was the QB vs KC, Henne was the QB vs Denver and while he still sucks, he's better than Gabbert and they had Blackmon back in the lineup vs Denver (he didn't play vs KC). Blackmon was the difference maker for anything they did on offense.

Great point though.

Yeah, but he's better than Gabbert and the bigger item there is Blackmon. Either way... debating over the fact that they scored 2 on KC thanks to a safety and 19 on Denver, 7 of it on an INT return is really silly. The game was never in doubt and they won by 16.
