Team is not going to be better for losing Flowers, but that contract was too big.

There is no talent at the CB position anymore. When you're pinning your hope on a pair of UDFA's...your secondary is in trouble.
Cooper never got benched. He was moved to the 3rd CB after Robinson got demoted and it stayed that way all year, except when Flowers was hurt and he was starting.

He played badly late in the season without question, but he was on the field giving up plays.
