There's no basis for that, especially considering the Royals attendance.
If every fan at each game, or half of them, or whatever return a paper ballot, why would that make up any of the net difference we are seeing in the internet vote? Since the Royals have higher attendance than most teams, if anything, it would only increase their lead.

The voting issue could be resolved by limiting the amount of votes per day that can come for each IP address.
