So what happens if KD goes DeAndre Jordan and signs with OKC anyways? What if this is a ploy to get GS to dismantle their team and shuffle key players like Bogut off? It's possible.

Oh, no doubt. They have every right to get better to beat LeBron and should absolutely try to do so. Doesn't stop me from finding their self-satisfied arrogance last season even more hilarious now. The narrative has now changed with this team for good.

I'm taking my talents to Lockwood Gardens South!!

I'm just glad he didn't end up in Boston. I hated the Warriors this season but it's less about their fans as much as it is the media dick sucking. I'll also be curious to see how they keep Curry in the future, as I can't see how they do that without multiple players dropping off.

I can't see anybody getting past the Warriors this season. I'd imagine this puts less pressure on Curry to play regular season minutes. Will be an interesting team to watch for sure.

Spurs or the Cavs are the only teams as of now that have a realistic shot at beating the Warriors. Spurs can pound the inside w Gasol and Alridge and slow the game down. LeBron can matchup w Durant and Irving obviously can w Curry but Warriors are going to be the favorites by a long shot in either of those series.

That will be the last title Lebron wins for a while.

I love it. It would have been wonderful for him to return to OKC, but GS will be a blast to watch this season.

Should also be mentioned that the Harden trade will now go down as probably the worst in NBA history. They went from a probable dynasty to nothing at all primarily because of one move.

It was the worst trade in NBA history the second it happened. Presti is intent on sinking that franchise.

I don't often agree with Stephen A, but it's true: Durant is a bitch. LeBron didn't leave Cleveland for Boston, and he didn't have another elite player and multiple other pieces with him.

'Hamas' Jenkins 07-04-2016 03:38 PM

If I'm Presti, I'm trading Westbrook to Boston for both of those Nets picks.

So, no one is seeing this as a remote possibility? Nick Wright just suggested it days ago on The Herd.

If youre OKC you got to lock up Westbrook ASAP or face this same situation next year where another market swoops in and steals youre star player and your fanbase finds out on some Jeter website for clickbait.

You lock up your last superstar and build like hell around him or you trade for the best picks/package you can get because Durant just left your franchise for nothing.

I dont see the point in letting superstars leave for nothing in a sport with no franchise tag it absolutely kills your market.

He cut and ran with 2 future hall of fame players.

I think Westbrook only has a year left on his deal.

Might as well trade him while you can.

mcaj22 07-04-2016 03:47 PM

yea but hes saying Cleveland had absolute trash when he left, his coach was Mike Brown and his best teammate was Mo Williams

OKC has a good coach and a way better team
