If this is how you feel, it is certainly close enough to my opinion of him to not bother spending time arguing about it. :thumb:

Do you consider him to be an elite QB??

Jesus Christ bowser can you even stay on topic. You are as bad as clay moving those goal posts.

You're the one that invoked Brady's name in comparison to Alex.

You're the one that invoked Russell Wilson's name in comparison to Alex.

You're the one that brought up rushing yards.

You're the one that gets to eat a shit sammich.

It's already been established here, far worse quarterbacks than Smith have won the title. Team effort. But primarily, defense wins rings. Just ask Peyton, Brady, Rodgers, Roeth, Flacco, Eli... None of those guys have won it carrying their whole team. The closest to doing that was brees and that only happens once in a blue moon
So you're saying that Alex is good enough to manage an offense to win a championship if he has an elite level defense backing him up? Yeah, I won't disagree with that. I also think about 25-28 quarterbacks in the NFL would be good enough to win a championship if they have an "elite" defense on their team. Is that the point you're trying to make, that defenses win championships in spite of their offenses?

I don't "hate" Alex, but I don't love him, either. He's better than a JAG. He won't kill your team, but he won't pull it out of the fire in crunch time, either.

You sound upset. Not once did I ever say we had an equal or better chance of winning all with Smith over those two. Clearly, the original point was that Smith has shown efficiency that a large percentage of quarterbacks produced when they won a ring

Sandy Vagina 11-07-2016 01:42 PM

I keep thinking back to 2013.. and if the crunch-time perspective changes one iota on him.. if Dwayne Bowe can just tap that second foot in bounds. :(

Your question was and is reeruned. Of course, I don't think Alex is elite. I never did.

He's actually the worst kind. He won't win you a Super Bowl, but he won't take you to the top of draft to replace him. The 8-8 to 11-5 type.

Whoa, what was your name on here before it became Sandy Cheeks? Was it AlexSmithFan, or something??

threebag 11-07-2016 03:40 PM

Some of these anti-Alex posters really channel their inner dumbass

In58men 11-07-2016 03:51 PM

Foles has more upside. Alex has peaked, Foles hasn't.

Nick Foles led the Chiefs to 19 offensive points and 187 passing yards yesterday.

The Chiefs have had less than 19 offensive points and less than 187 passing yards in 25% of Alex Smith’s starts in Kansas City (13 games).

But what about their rushing yards?...
