Make no doubt....Smith is the issue

I didn't even watch the second half of the game due to a family gathering and I dont want to hear anyone say Smith isn't part of the problem.

That being said since I havent and wont go back and watch the 2nd half, what happened on the INT near the EZ?

TimeForWasp 11-21-2016 05:52 PM

Chiefs need to be more aggressive on offence and defence. PERIOD

And when the defense gives up more than 17 points in any of those games, take a wild ass guess who will get the blame?

Thanks Smith for not seeing Kelce wide open and also overthrowing him.

He stared down the WR and the safety broke before the ball was even out of his hand.

It was slightly tipped at the line, but wouldn't have mattered. The broadcast showed a view from behind the LOS that shows the safety with a clean break on it.

He watched the receiver the whole way, threw it a little late, it got tipped a little, receiver was double covered and it got picked.

Many said the tip caused it even after the tv showed it about ten times and the announcers pointed out it was getting picked either way. Which was pretty obvious

Yeah I guess he wasn't double covered to start. He just telegraphed the throw so bad that the safety was there before the ball.

On a three yard throw.

It was the same play they ran at Houston in the Wild Card game. Smith, Reid, and the whole offense was counting on the safety to bite on the PA like in Houston, and Conley would be open.

The safety didn't bite. He forced it in, INT.

That is exactly what happened. Right when Smith threw it, everyone watching knew it was gonna get picked. The Safety jumped in the throwing lane to the spot where the ball was thrown. Not only that, there was another defender there. It was the kind of throw a rookie QB makes. It had zero chance for success once the ball was snapped.

Still can't win games if the offense is shitting everywhere.

Mitch Morse:

“I think the last few weeks, it feels like the offense hasn’t, really, done it’s part in terms of putting up the points that we need to and being able to get our defense in good situations and letting those guys rush. We need figure out why that is and work on it this week and get better.”

That's a quote from Schwartz...not Morse.

If we don't come out and run the football at this lousy run defense Denver has, I might shit a cat.

It's going to mean everything to winning this game and games going forward.
