If I was a fan I’d disown that franchise if they did this. Holy shit LMAO

Sounds like ESPN tried to put words in his mouth...

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Watson&#39;s unhappiness with Texans is not strongly connected to social justice issues, a source close to the quarterback clarifies, even though those issues are important.<br>His unhappiness is more current with state of franchise and what has transpired. <a href="https://t.co/wV4UDEIYzd">https://t.co/wV4UDEIYzd</a></p>&mdash; Chris Mortensen (@mortreport) <a href="https://twitter.com/mortreport/status/1348317486014484483?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 10, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I still think the Vikings would be a good fit. They have great weapons and he would be a huge boost at QB.

Then they could allocate all remaining resources to the defense and OL.

Depends on how many high draft picks. I don’t think the 49ers would agree to an amount of picks that would satisfy me if I were a Texans fan though. I would be pissed with less than like 3 firsts and a couple seconds.

That would be amazing much as id hate to see Shanahan get a weapon like deshaun. What a surprise... He has a hard on for an ex patriots qb.

Or will they overvalue jimmy g because of their hard on they have for getting a patriot way qb.

Watson

For

Tua
3rd pick
18th pick
2022 1st or 2nd

Is that too much? Not enough?

RunKC 01-10-2021 12:02 PM

Imagine Watson in the NFC West. That whole division would be a MASH unit beating up on each other

Deberg_1990 01-10-2021 12:04 PM

Wow. What a downgrade this would be for the Texans. Miami would be instant contenders

It would be hilarious if the Texans traded him to the Saints for Hill and picks then tried to make Hill their starter.

Houston needs to save money in their rebuilding efforts. Tua has the cheap rookie contract for a good amount of time. Deshaun's cap hit jumps to $40M in 2022.

What a terrible time to be a Texans fan. They have the QB, but no team and no picks to build a team and now the QB may want out. I don't see any scenario where the Texans are any good in the next 2-3 years.

A patriot way buffoon put them in that situation. Only to be replaced by more patriot way idiocracy.

RedinTexas 01-10-2021 12:30 PM

Houston is a pro-football town and they are very into the Texans. The fans are getting livid though, with the idiotic things going on. The Texans can recover with their fan base, but not without making the team good in a hurry. If they go into an extended funk, the fans will desert them until the team recovers.

Yeah, they need to sign the 2021 versions of Brokedick Vrabel and O'Failaghan.
